You bring back memories! Probably about 40 years ago, I was scuba diving and spear fishing likely right in that area. I was an amateur diver but fortunately my friend was very expeienced. We camped at a stream just east of Neah Bay, then scuba dived just west of the harbor at Neah Bay. I remember it was very beautiful, above and below the water. But we were enjoying the bottom so much, when we came up to get oriented we realized were had drifted with the current much farther west than we had realized. If we kept going, the next stop would be Japan! We were fighting the current and slowly making our way back toward our boat. Very fortunately for us, another diver - in the only boat within sight - saw use and motored out to get us back to our own boat. A few days later, I was telling my Dad about where we camped. We had hiked up an old logging railroad grade one evening. Dad told me he had logged off that same railroad in the 1930's. And just by the way, my 2021 Tacoma Off-road access cab finally arrived two days ago. Today I had the same canopy you have installed on it. Tomorrow I will finish installing the Decked drawer system.

Wow, that’s a wonderful story of the good old days. Thanks for sharing it! We love this area too, hopefully in 40 years still a viable and beautiful place to fish. Oh and congrats to your new Tacoma, that’s awesome!

Awesome! I know right where you were (I think). Does hold a lot of small ones. Glad you got nice ones at the end! Can't beat kelp Greenling. My wife's favorite fish I bring home- even more than halibut, salmon, lingcod, etc.

Thank you! Ya the area is full of fish, some really big flounder too. For my smalll kayak it’s not easy to find nice calm weather to go out further for bigger fish lol. Btw, saw your channel, great contents. subscribed!

I would use a Cast Master or a grub tail jig as a sinker. give you options if they aren't feeling the shrimp.

How come you turned the kayak upside down mounting on Thule tracker 2 instead of seat up as in your other video with Thule tracker 2!? Better aerodynamics!?

I was out at Freshwater bay today. I was fishing with a sonic baitfish lure and caught nothing. Maybe I should switch to sand shrimp.

I wonder if jigging a Kastmaster would work on these.
