It's hard not to be absolutely gobsmacked by Ren. The change ups on rap styles and flows is absolutely stellar. Compound that he writes, records, and produces his music, including all the beats. He told someone in an interview he has no idea what the rules of music are. He just writes what sounds good to him. I think he broke us of that traditional verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown-chorus way we've been listening to fo so long. It's refreshing, actually.
