The line "Pupils dilate in the dark, people die late in the dark" is refering to a friend of his who took his own life late one night. He does a duet with Chinchilla about this part of his life called "How To Be Me", the live version is incredible.

Chillin in cars listening to music are some of the best times, cherish it bros. On that note Power is a great song and the video was done driving around too. Also completely outside of Ren but a great artist to react to is the Bee Gee's (stayin alive, too much heaven). They have some crazy 70s voices and style.

You guys are so fun! I think Ren says at one point he was stuck in his room 23 hours out of 24 and all his bones hurt. In one video Ren mentioned that the only thing that pulled him through those rough years was his music. He said that even when he could not get out of bed he made music by his bedside. That's why he is so good, in my opinion, that he just loves music so much and music has helped him so much. Have you heard Ed Sheerans song F64? Every time I watch you, I think of this song, the bond and energy that Ed had with Jamal Edwards. You have such good energy between the two of you.

THATS the special thing about Ren...besides alot of other special shit 😂 ...he went through some sever bullshit...like many of us dont even come close...but hes able to flip it around and make life even more enjoyable and fun everwhere and everytime he can. And that might be his most profound message and inspiration. Love this song and love your reaction! Ren was very depressed and in constant pain a few years ago, before he had a stem cell transplant, which basically gave him a second chance to live and play music. He still has lots of medical issues, but is doing better. Please do Power and Love Music Part 3!!! Also his band Big Push - I shot the Sheriff...
