But she’s part of YG, literally Blackpink wouldn’t have its brand today without 2NE1 (who where the first K-Pop girl group to be sought after by a western artist to debut in the USA) or Psy, who literally make K-Pop popular. And Wonder Girls we’re the first K-pop group to reach a place on the Billboard Charts. Blackpink and Bts are just more popular, because they had a lifeline to the western market made by WG, 2NE1, and Psy. BTS would have came out about a decade ago, they wouldn’t even gotten in the door. I think new fans need to brush up on K-pop history, because BP and BTS haven’t done much, just got lucky other artist fought for western acknowledgment. And get 0% credit too. Tragic!

BTS is the first ever and probably the only kpop group to achieve that level of popularity and a fanbase consisting of millions or billions of people. Well, the 1,2 generations are definitely hardworking and brilliant but they did not pave the way as kpop was not known to the world yet then at this current level. I do agree groups like bigbang, GG, 2NE1, infinite, TVXQ are alll very famous and respected and are one of the reasons of kpop becoming what it is today in south korea but it was BTS who expanded the whole kpop industry from just being in south korea to the whole world. There will be no other BTS and whether people agree or not BTS is the reason of kpop becoming what it is today, even the south Korean government agrees!!

These are not even big deals. Things are small but they make them big. It is not like they're doing some kind of criminal activities. People nowadays spend too much of their time online, somehow they have become more sensitive since they don't get many things to do? They should go out more, enjoy their time playing outside rather than sticking their nose on whatever things they see online and negatively making comments just to hype things up. I always say, there is a limitation of being a fan. We don't have right to judge other people, just mind your own business, will ya? Aren't they tired? Seriously, I am working full time and busy taking care my own life. I don't even have time to mind others that I don't know personally. I listen to music and watch dramas. If I find singer or actor that I like, then I would become a fan. But that's about it. I admire them for their talent and not because of their personal life. Stay out of their personal life and invest more time on yourself. That would make your life happier.

I kinda agree with Jungwon, here in Canada, we have something called EQAO. It is basically a standardizing test that happens for those in gr.3,6,9 and 12. But my whole school thinks it is useless because we have been in the pandemic for 2 years. You are supposed to be in-person for school, so they just can't put large tests all of the sudden. Plus last year, they even canceled it for the kids. IT IS NOT FAIR. I think that was what Jungwon tried to explain, and the others, just leave them alone. They are just trying to protect themselves and their members. They are not robots to be controlled. They are also humans. (This message is for the people who took everything to far.) I am even get anger issues and swear badly all the time.

When idols and their companies state that they "will be more careful in the future" it always seems to me that they will be more careful to not get caught. I'm starting to get done with the idols' nice and goody image. I can believe it for a while, but as soon as bad personality rumors start going around I think there's a big change that they are somewhat true. I know a lot of rumors start out of hate and jealousy, but I know for sure that as long as these idols are human they're not perfect and nice all the time. It's not like Korean famous people are a whole different breed from other famous people around the world.

It blows my mind that “cursing” always turns into a “scandal” .. I’ve always used cursing as an a emotional expression outlet sorta … lol. I promise that I can pop off with at least 5 things right off the top of my head that they should be more worried about .. Like, the fact that they debut literal children in groups making them wear certain things and do certain dance moves that make me go “Uh. Alright?!? This is so not okay!!” Putting idols out there at such an early age is so damaging to the individual in so many ways. I don’t read “fanfics” or whatever they are called but I seen a screenshot of a story that someone was working come up on my IG feed and there were some super explicit details regarding Enhypens Niki and Jay .. the woman’s page was filled with photos of her own teen children so .. all that … just made go “ugh .. yikes. Enhypen as a whole should watch what they are saying. In their first year, they were this perfect group that didn't have any scandals and just put out banger after banger, but now they are fatshaming, making dumb statements and their latest song was (imo) just a bunch of guys talking with autotune on and some low quality music playing in the backgorund. I know that it is not Enhypen's fault, that their music is going downhill (still imo), but instead of improivising the boys's vocals and rap, which has already faced some backlash, be:lift just decides to put a bunch of autotune in-_-. But, with all this said, they are one of the leading acts of gen 4 bg, sp they must be doing something right.
