So will your job(daily duties) change at all after you get your CPA? I am very unfamiliar with how a state or government auditing job works. Will it allow you more promotional opportunities?

Without my CPA license I can only be promoted one more rank. With it, I can go much further. There is also a salary increase and certain audits require a certain amount of CPA licensed auditors on the team so it would allow me a greater client base. I am mostly motivated by the uncertainty of what the future holds. I don't want to be at a job interview in say 10 years and be told I might be considered if I had my CPA. That would suck. Lol

Umm I'm not sure. Lol they're just there in my CPA Central profile. Every state has their own way of reporting scores and organizing your profile so maybe yours isn't in NASBA

Not a silly question! When I took BEC, the prompt would tell you who you are. For instance "you are John Smith, the Chief Financial Officer of Brix company". So, at the end of the memo, you would say something like I look forward to hearing from you soon, John Smith, CFO or whatever makes sense to the memo context.
