Mickey, great job thanks.I have been learning most of what I know about E9 from you.Your standards and instructional material are high quality.I can well appreciate your reservation of showing C6 instruction.Fear not Mickey as for me it was well worth the wait.Outstanding delivery and showing humility as well.Thanks a ton.

Part 1...wow that is tuff enuff all that intricate playing . I am just a guitar player trying to emulate your teaching and ouch it is difficult. Many years ago I used a spark plug socket as a slide trying to sound sorta steel. No weird tuning just standard six. It was impossible to get close to your Night life. 2023 I dropped the slide and replaced it with bass guitar octave drop on ead strings. It is better than the old slide but...my fingers are stretching beyond limits . it is great hearing you play a real steel and teaching. You are great teacher and player. I am thanking you and Jesus above for gifts of. ...your Music and life. You make it look easy and play great ...but this is got to be one of the hardest songs ever. Thanks

Yo Mickey, just converted my ole 70's Bud to C6 with 6 on the floor, no KNLs and had an interest in Buddy's head into Night Life. It would have taken me an eternity to figgah it out, really cool of you to fire it up! Thanks so much!

Wow, Mickey!! You got a very mellow sound from the pedal steel. This Mullen G2 has a gorgeous sound indeed. I was about to ask which amp you are using in this video but I noticed how you recorded right below. Congratulations, man.

Hey bud, I assume you were using the basic emmons setup here? Pedal 6 lowera 6 a half and raises 2 a half ans 7 raises 3 and 4 a whole?

Mickey: As with all your videos, this is excellent! Two question, if I may: Pearl has 9 levers? Could you explain their physical layout under the guitar? Also, how is Buzz Evans doing? IMO, he is the master of C6. His arrangements of jazz standards are unequalled. "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" in particular. Many, many thanks!

I like the C6 EQ on this PSG and the lower level of Rev / Delay . Its way easier to heard individual notes..
@Singlpilot9 жыл бұрын
+Bo Borland There is no delay....It is recorded direct through a Telonics PRE-1000 Preamp to my Presonus board...:-)

i was listening thru ear buds at my guitar .. my point was the process you are using, whatever it is reverb or delay , is way better than previous where the EFX were turned up.. It's a good video ..
