Not only do I love and respect you, your family and all things BT, I owe you the incredible relationship I have with my bird. It’s because I you that I even have a bird! I friend who has 🦜 found your channel several years ago. We binge watched every video and the would talk about them in our daily walks, dissecting and discussing every point. Wasn’t long before Universe landed a CAG in my lap! Learning from you how to listen and learn from my bird has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. Which is saying a lot. I use only your pellets and toys make the SFS chop and have turned more people onto Bird Tricks than I could count. And… it is a bummer to see all the channels I love and have followed for years go to a pay-to-play model. Don’t get me wrong - I do not begrudge ANYONE making a living! Especially people, like you, who are doing such great work for their chosen communities. And, it does become ex-clusive for many loyal viewers who are doing their very best to get by. I know you got some uncalled for hate from a handful of stupid people. But leaving us YT viewers on the curb to pick up year old bits and pieces feels 😞😢.

That's so thoughtful of you! Someday, I hope to emulate you, and maybe save a few birds on my own (but maybe I should get my own bird, first). Haha. You are aMAZing, I've learned sooo much from you, and I'm so glad that Bird Tricks first showed up, when I decided to learn about parrots. Thank you both for helping me learn so much I didn't even know I needed (annnd...psst...don't tell Dave, but you're my favorite ! ;)).

your videos on behavior has helped me so much with my macaw who is a 30yr rehomed macaw named Merlin with an injury that left him unable to fly at a young age, I am his forever home but the other few homes he's been at left him with behavioral issues and your videos helped me find the best way to fix/learn how to interact with him. him and I are still learning each other but his biting is now rare compared to it being every time I interacted with him. he has a habit which we are still working on is his hate for leaving his cage. Thank you so much and I love your content!

I adopted a lost budgie who was found outside because Capri, Blueberry, and lil' Bluee inspired me. Tell her thank you for me. 🌈🐦🦜

I’m happy you adopted a bird I hope you made sure to atleast try to find its owner before you made the budgie officially a part of your family!❤
@abigaillilac13702 күн бұрын
@@autumnkeel773 The real owner hasn't been found on Facebook or Craigslist. There isn't a leg band, so I can't look that up. I don't think her old owners cared much. Shes untamed, only eats seeds, and doesn't know how to play with toys.

@@abigaillilac1370 woah that’s horrible, And sounds like a case to me that someone baught the budgie from a pet store and let it free :( birdtricks has help with diet transitioning and bonding videos. And I also believe how to have a bird want to play with toys if they don’t I know other ytbers do! I hope your baby is doing good!
@abigaillilac13702 күн бұрын
@@autumnkeel773 I saw those videos and have begun the diet transitioning process and the bonding process. I'm trying to find any fruit or veggie she'll eat. So far, she will only dig through any veggies/fruits for seeds. I've had SOME luck with zupreem pellets mushed up with water and seeds.

Im not even shopping for birds. I stumbled on your videos the other day, clicked on them out of boredom. holy shit, that was a mistake; i cant stop watching your videos. i had no idea birds could be fun and be a member of the family!

I'm becoming addicted to your channel. you make me want a bird. my only "experience" with birds was when I was your daughters age because my grandmother had a cockatiel (however you spell it). that bird had a cute but loud chirp. after watching your videos, i don't think my grandmother knew what she was doing taking care of it. it never left its cage and never flew.... My actual experience was 20 years ago working at petsmart...conures, parakeets, finches....all that job taught me was birds shit a lot. Looking back, that was like 30 birds in a small confined cage, so it is not fair for me to judge them on that experience. and... I've got a Burmese Python, Ball Python, two Boa's, a California King Snake, and a Western Hognose Snake. I cant use a birds droppings as an excuse to justify not even consider getting one. I live in Michigan, and we dont have big open spaces like you do to free fly these birds. I live on a lake, I've got all kinds of hawks, swans, cranes, Canadian geese, and even a bald eagle that comes around now and again. a pet bird would be a target. On top of that, we get snow. I feel a pet bird selection would be very limited.

You can get a BirdTricks hoodie! Go to this link, pick the design you like (even though it shows a t-shirt). Once you pick the design you like, then you can choose between a hoodie, crew neck sweatshirt, tank top, t-shirt, etc. www.bonfire.com/store/birdtricks/ 😊
