That kind of deck was featured a good amount of times but when MBM tweaks it, it becomes better and less predictable for most players...and becomes more entertaining too. No one expects him to have multiple number of dream trawlers to attack them lol

Cloning those won't be worth it. Glasspool Mimic has a CMC of 3, same as the bird goat. Add in the fact that Storm's Wrath would hit his own planeswalkers and you're just asking for a worse version of what we are watching now

So basically the same deck CGB ran the other day but it doesn't use the Omens. Love our Dark Lord's videos but in this instance the other deck is way better. I believe he also ran Narset and Yorion

They are completely different decks except Lukka+Trawler. CGB's deck is a Yorion control deck with a trawler wincon, it sacrifices tokens to get a free trawler. MBM has to sacrifice 3 drops instead for Trawler, but Lukka's +1 is also helpful, and the goal is making as many trawler as you can. CGB's version is more competitive obviously, he mostly plays competitive decks unlike MBM.

@@lordfifth4520 It's the same basic principle though, use Lukka to cheat out Trawler which is WAY more reliable when Trawler is the only creature in the deck.

@@Malacite If your goal is getting just a trawler, it is way more reliable and much more competitive to do it that way, like you said. But this deck is trying to copy trawler with glasspool mimic and sublime epiphany. If you are running glasspool mimic, you might as well play other 3 drops because of how Lukka works. But you will have to sacrifice 3 drops. Now if you ask me is there any point to try to copy trawler that much, i would say no because 1 trawler is usually enough to close out the game if it doesnt get removed. But if you ask me is it fun, i would say yes. CGB mostly plays competitive decks, and MBM mostly plays silly decks.

MTGA Pro's deckbuilder has also been wonky for months and I don't like Aether hub's so haven't even really been able to write down the lists

1) "should of" doesn't make any sense 2) Brazen Borrower can only block creatures with flying, so it couldn't have dealt with that token 3) He should've cast Petty Theft to bounce the token
