I was on a similar line of thought to use Vivian in combination with terror of the peaks, but I chose to run just green red for: -2 viv cast troll king tutor terror of the peaks deal 7, fling to deal another 7 and then bring troll king back with his ability for another 7.

You should try a version of my fun Cathar's Crusade(s) / Animation Module / Anointed Procession mana elf deck... Basically, once you get cathars' crusade in play a with animation module and a bunch of mana sources, you can just pump out a massive army that gets like linearly bigger. Drop creature, cathars' crusade goes off giving all creatures counters, triggering animation module. Just dump all your mana into it, and break Arena with a billion triggers. Yeah, it's bad, 'cause each creature getting counters triggers another "stack item" of Animation Module, so it gets out of hand really quickly. Just dump in all your mana and let it auto-resolve. Though it'll take forever... It's so completely ridiculous...

I would say go look at covertgoblue's many yorion decks for ideas there. He's here on KZbin and has made a lot of yorion decks. The Mana base for this deck is unusual but you can get an idea of number of lands to run at least

just wondering if anyone tried this and was not able to do anything but cast Births and Charming princes. I played 10 matches and played lands and births. Never even close to winning a game, Still a fun concept, i just cant get anything together with this deck.

I haven't tried this yet, but maybe try building a Yorion version. Adding more draw/protection/removal alongside the combo pieces. Plus, Yorion is just obviously good with all of this ETB triggers. I may build one myself and see what happens. (you would need a decent addition of even converted creatures to hit with Gyruda, since increasing the card count makes it less likely Gyruda goes off.)

Those are the requirements for using him as a "companion" to your deck, but it is not necessary to meet those requirements if you simply want him in your deck.

4 life would have been the price for the spell if he had no human. He had a human so he did not have to pay that. But he targeted Terror if the peaks which says "Spells your opponents cast that target Terror of the Peaks cost an additional 3 life to cast."
