Stay Gold was a pandemic era song. It shows them doing things they, and everyone, could still do while the lockdowns were in effect. They went so far to encourage not only their fans, but the world, during those dark times of uncertainty. They showed that you could still 'stay gold' and at the end everything is becoming brighter and they are out and about in appreciation that life in full will return and shine.

For the first two songs, look how young they were compared to today, 10 years later. They practiced a minimum of 12 hours a day, up to 16, to make everything perfect. Jimin's original role was to be the bad boy, and smash pianos. They soon realized it didn't fit his natural personality at all. He didn't receive official voice training, that's natural as well, and should be evident thru your headphones. When V cut his hair he was so upset that he cut some of his real hair as well as the wig. Whenever you see guys in black hoods, they are haters. That's who is chasing BTS in Not Today, and why they are fighting back. So much hate has landed on BTS from all sides that their survival is a miracle. You'll see haters in Mic Drop and Fire, two more examples. Army, determination, hard work, built their bond, which has gotten them to the top. It's battling this hate which makes their story different and sets them apart from any other k-pop.

You’re right about it not just being the choreography but how they portray it. If you’ve ever noticed, they are so on point they jump and land at exactly the same time every time. "Danger" has always been my favorite song and it was the first I ever listened to. Three of the members have backgrounds in martial arts; Jimin, Jungkook, and Jin, I believe. You'll see them messing around with it in some of the older video content.

Stay Gold was released during the pandemic. Fear of the unknown, quarantine and not knowing what the future was going to be is the context in which this song was written. Keep that in mind while you watch this mv and you will understand the visuals and lyrics. Jimin actually holds a black belt (or equivalent) in SEVERAL different forms of martial arts..and has studied even more forms than he has those black belts/equivalents in. Jungkook has a black belt in...I think it's taekwondo? (Don't quote me on that.) Who needs a bodyguard when Jimin and JK are two of your members?? LOL (Seriously, though, legalities suck, so they have to have a few bodyguards, of course, but...they don't really NEED any.) Also in "Danger" - funny side note, when V cut his hair...he didn't only get wig. He did get a little bit of his actual hair, too. "Not Today"...."What in the movie is this?" Yep! Exactly! LOL A lot of their songs (NOT this one, but others) are actually connected by a "hidden story" that runs through them, known as "The Bangtan Universe", or simply "The BU".
