I’m so excited and so passionate about finding purpose and fulfillment in the God Given Gift of motherhood.
It can be a blessing, it can be a training ground, it can be a beautiful school for us as mothers to learn.
Love you all so much!:)
Merry Christmas! 🎁

Hands down the most real and helpful video on KZbin! It makes me feel like I’m not alone! I love being a mom and wife but sometimes it feels like I’m going crazy and I don’t understand how other moms look like they have it all together🤦‍♀️

Hi, I am a 21 year old single University student hoping to one day be a stay at home mom. Thank you for making these honest Christ-glorifyind videos. I don't know many women like you in person so I am really happy there are women like me out there.

I’m definitely in season 1 as I try to get the new routine with my third baby. I know it won’t last forever, but it feels insurmountable in the moment.

I have definitely felt that way as well at times. ❤️ this last week we’ve all been a bit sick, so the babies are cranky and up at night. I keep having to tell myself it’s just a season, while not pulling out my hair. 😂😂

Wow! I’m going through the first season hard right now. I have two boys and my husband has been deployed for the past 7 months now. My house is a mess, my toddler has been misbehaving, and I’m exhausted! I can’t wait for my hubby to get home. I miss him so incredibly much right now.

My Mom had 5 of us and kept her full time job of being a teacher until retirement. She had a great support system and I must say she did well. I personally never felt neglected or that I missed out on anything. Looking back I am in awe of how she managed & also kept a pretty decent home as well. I am a College graduate,married for 7 years & worked on and off. My husband always had a stable job. I feel as though I need to contribute, so I'm actually studying online and applying to work from home jobs. I like the homemaking aspect of my life some days more than others but it is a definite improvement from the early years of marriage.

Yes! That is a good point!:) I guess it doesn’t apply just to motherhood, your comment made me think, could it even apply to marriage a bit at times?

You do such a great job at explaining things! I definitely struggle with not feeling challenged as a stay-at-home mom, too. I was trying so hard to start a side hustle or business to feel like I'm doing something useful/exciting/worthy, but neglecting motherhood and homemaking in the process. I am taking things more slow this year as I am expecting another baby next month, and I am just starting to realize how much there really is to learn and grow from in motherhood itself! So inspiring :)

Hello! Great video! I am in season one with my first child who is almost 6 weeks old. I constantly feel like a failure when she cries. My husband works nights so I am alone when she is most fussy. Then when he comes home around 11pm, I tend to snap at him cause I am so tired. And I feel like a horrible wife. Anyway, thank you for your video. Most YT MOMS I see project perfection which makes me feel like a further failure. But I appreciate your honesty.

Ah I'm very similar to you in all the projects I'm interested in! Hearing you say these things helps me not feel so guilty doing my projects. My struggle though is finding time to do my projects without the kids (2 and 4) destroying the house around me 🤦🏻‍♀️ I guess they have a lot of energy since it's winter. How do you keep your kids out of trouble while you work on a project? I find it hard to even get started when I know that I'll be interrupted very soon and have a big mess to clean up
@BecauseitMatters

Haha, um, sadly it does often involve the house getting pretty messy if I want to do anything else. 😂 I do find puzzles, playdough, books, etc. help keep my toddler entertained pretty well. I also try to involve her as much as I can. If I’m painting furniture, I’ll let her paint a part I will later just sand down, if I’m cleaning, I have her help sometimes. But yes, usually my house gets pretty messy if I do anything besides continual cleaning. 😂😂

This video was so helpful! This is something I am struggling with as a mom and also a lack of support and not having other moms to relate to. I live in a very rural area so there are not very many resources or people my age with young children. What do you recommend for people that are also struggling with support and a lack of mom friends?

Hi Sarah, thanks for sharing this great tip for overcoming boredom as a mother. You mentioned 3 seasons - will you be telling us about the 3rd? Also, have you heard of the podcast What Have You? with Rachel Jankovic & Bekah Merkle - they talk about motherhood a lot and have tons of wisdom to share. Each episode usually starts with general chit chat and then they discuss a topic of eternal value. These two women have written some excellent books also. God bless you in this great work you are doing in His service :-)
