Business Organizations are right now firmly urged to embrace more capable production designs lined up with sustainable development goals (SDGs). Pro-environmental Behavior (PEBs) in the work environment can reinforce the normal positive effects of organizations' environmental exhibition and induce more sustainable changes to low-carbon production. The present study analyzed how different factors relate with PEB. Pro-environmental behavior is behavior that an individual intentionally picks to limit the adverse consequence of their activities on the climate. Barriers to pro-environmental conduct are the various elements that thwart people when they attempt to change their practices toward carrying on with more sustainable ways of life. For the most part, these barriers can be isolated into bigger classifications: mental, social/social, monetary, and primary. Mental barriers are viewed as interior, where a people's information, convictions, and contemplations influence their conduct. Social and social barriers are context-oriented, where a singular's conduct is impacted by their environmental elements (for example neighborhood, town, city, and so on) Monetary barriers are basically an absence of assets to push toward more sustainable conduct (for example new advancements, electric vehicles). Primary barriers are outside and frequently inconceivable for a person to control, like the absence of legislative activity, or territory of home that promotes vehicle used instead of public travel. Present research has developed a set of predictors for PEB in modern organization. Management and HR of business organizations can refer this work to develop PEB in their employees. PEB not only make the employee, ‘environment active’ but they also make them accountable for their organizational role. Base on the study educator of pro-environment behavior can develop a suitable module for the study. PEB is function of 7 different factors, these factors can be further used to cultivate other behaviors like professionalism and accountability. The present research provides frame work for future studies. Researchers and scholars can go for further path analysis to find the exact impact path of variables used in the study. Pro-environment behavior is of actually two types. On is protective and other is corrective. For classification ease sometime it is categorized into 4 parts. First is private action, as that an individual does. One choses cycle above motor bike, pool vehicle or public transport than individual cars. It’s their personal choice. Then organizational PEB is the second form, in these tries to reduce the wastage at office like plastic free office environment etc. the third type is public non activists’ action like joining any workshop on pro-environment behavior etc. Forth is activists, which take part in protest and campaigns. Organizational prefers the organizational PEB as others may affect the sole cause of organization. Organization can create social values by promoting PEB behaviors. Being "environment friendly" or "eco-friendly" is the 'in thing' today. Aiming a zero-waste or vegan or carbon-neutral lifestyle are now trendy. The recent climate strikes and the declaration of a 'climate emergency' have raised awareness on environmental issues, motivating behavioural change in people towards sustainable lifestyles. Self-serving biases are known to cause people to use positive information more than negative information while adding to their knowledge. For example, people expect their pro-environmental actions, like avoiding the use of plastics, to significantly reduce plastic pollution, while underestimating the effects on a global scale. The present study enriches the pool of PEB studies. Lot of researchers have tried to develop a suitable predictive model for PEB. VBN theory provides good insight on the reason behind the PEB. The result suggests that modern employees are truing towards sustainable business practice and if incorporate in businesses the findings of the work will contribute to the development of PEB and sustainable business practice among the business organizations.
