While it is widely recognized that SBCC is at the core of development practice, people-centered communication initiatives are often questioned about their effectiveness, impact, and sustainability. In that context, this panel will examine the central role of communication in promoting people-led social and behavior change and will illustrate how SBCC has tackled challenges in areas such as sexual and reproductive health, women's empowerment and gender equality.
