Oh I remember this girl. I think she was one of the youngest competitors in Masterchef Canada. Season 5 was all about her winning each and every challenge from the start. Not just winning, as far as I remember, she excelled at each and every dish she prepared that impressed the judges almost every time. I remember she was laser-focused when she used to prepare her dish and had a stoic attitude. It was astounding to watch her cook.

IMPO The steak looked more rare than medium rare. The dish itself was too simple on presentation, not spectacular. I believe they chose to push forward the 19 year old more because of her age and how it might help with viewership... I could be wrong, but I don't think he dish was an Express to the top 12 dish...

Beccy's steak was raw in the middle. I don't think she deserved to win MasterChef because she got the most leniency of any fully-abled chef on the show. Every other contestant would have gotten chewed out, but not Beccy.
