this was the top comment so i saw this before watching. so i thought michael would go home, thinking that he would be eliminated in the end of this clip, thus making debra right. i was so confused why he was complimented and was safe from elimination. at first, i was like, "yeah, okay, his pie was a tad spicy. that could be his downfall." the confusion added up when it was debra who was eliminated. damn, it was in the last seconds where she said dave would be the next masterchef

FYI, if you guys didn't notice, Line wasn't there because she was going to hospital due to dehydration. She was the team captain for this team because their team lost. She saved herself and later she collapsed because of the stress and dehydration.

Cooking makes you pucker? Personally cooking is far from being a stressful endeavour. For me cooking is more about radical fits of ennui and nihilism. Only when I'm cooking though.

This is the most intense season to complete First runner-up (Everyone know David will be Champion) But Line, Sabrina, Andrew (he makes small mistake and eliminated), Cody, even Chris, Michael and John are very strong cook

Glad they actually went with Tourtiere de Saguenay. Here in Alberta people call ground meat pie with some spices Tourtiere which is technically correct, some parts of Quebec make it that way, but the good stuff has the chunky meat and potatoes. Though what possessed Tammy to put APPLE in it I have no idea that's just insane to me

I'm from from Saguenay and I couldn't agree more! You can eat it with fruit ketchup on the side if you want that sweat flavor but don't put apples in my tourtière!

I was born in Montreal, and grew up in french Canadian towns. Tourtiere is a MEAT pie. My grandmom and mother would both throw all of these in the garbage.

Yep. I personally prefer tourtiere de saguenay because that's what my Pepere always makes for christmas but it just seems like they're overcomplicating things lol. They should have kept it simple, no one in their right mind would add hot pepper or apple to a tourtiere.

@@blitzerspectre Toute ma famille du côté maternel vient du Saguenay. Si tu regardes la définition traditionnelle de tourtière québécoise, c'est la tourtière du Saguenay qu'on décrit. Avec plusieurs sortes de viande et des patates! Ça se rapproche beaucoup du cipaille/cipâte (sauf pour le nombre d'étages de pâte, la tourtière n'en a que 2). Ce n'est pas un ajout du Saguenay; si il n'y a pas de patates, ce n'est pas une "vraie tourtière traditionnelle". Ce que tu décris est probablement ce qu'on appelle aussi "pâté à la viande", mais même là il est censé y avoir au moins un peu de patates selon la définition.
