Great to be alive during these times to have grown up chasing these sounds a big hole left now. We were lucky to have had Jeff so many decades of mind blowing work from him.

After watching a number of the videos of Jeff Beck's tribute I personally thought Gary Clark Jr was the best guitarist by far on the stage. It brought memories of the master himself. I was blown away by his guitar playing. I wish he would have been showcase more during this tribute because he definitely has the rare gift of taking the guitar and becoming one with it. I pray he receives the exposure he so rightfully deserves.

I seem to have a fond, if somewhat vague, memory of buying the single "Hi Ho Silver Lining" in 1967, and after playing it on the old Philco record player, discovering this on the b-side. I think it was credited to J. Page. Thanks for sharing this. Jeff, thanks for the memories.😊

I remember hearing Jeff Beck's version of this song late at night on KEXL radio as a kid thinking that there was much more to music than I had realized. Beautiful version by these guys and Derek has been the flag carrier throughout most of the best Jeff Beck Tribute songs I have heard so far. So glad he was invited. When you see Nathan East (bass player) smiling during the solos for these tributes, you know good work is being done...

Love this tribute. where was Jimmy Page though? I didn't understand why he of all people was not on stage. They knew each other as teenagers and he even wrote this song for Jeff Beck. Also Nathan East is a great bass player for this group. East played with Clapton forever and his jazz career with FourPlay is some of the best modern Smooth Jazz around. Jeff you were the best. We lost a giant.

It's Derek's Bolero now! Jeff would love this. I've always thought the main melody really sums up his playing (if such a thing can even be done): it's that keening, clarion call voice of him speaking through his guitar.

I'm afraid that this will come off insulting, which I hope not for, however, The show feels a bit like a condensed Crossroads Festival. Where is Jimmy Page on Beck's Bolero? Where is Stevie Wonder? Where is Tal Wilkenfeld? Where is Vinnie Colaiuta, Terry Bozzio? Where's Carmen Vandenberg? Where's Jan Hammer? Where's Steve Lukather, & Carlos Santana & Carmine Appice& Tony Hymas, Bernie Marsden? etc... I'm happy to see the fantastic Rhonda Smith, John McLaughlin and Ronnie & Rod, Joss, & Imelda, and Depp. As much as I love all the other players and know they have a deep respect for Jeff - A lot of the players seem to be from Clapton's world and not necessarily Jeff's. Is it just me? It is a wonderful thing that Eric did here - no disrespect intended -
