Eric Clapton and Friends a tribute to Ginger Baker
video by Dror Nahum
A one-time only concert from Eric Clapton to celebrate the musical life of his dear friend Ginger Baker.
The set list for the concert will look to honour Baker’s lifetime in music and will, of course, include Clapton and Baker’s work together in Cream and Blind Faith.
Forthcoming announcements will detail the artist line-up. The event will be held in aid of Leonard Cheshire, a charity close to the Baker family.
Eric Clapton & Friends: A Tribute to Ginger Baker Band Line Up and Guest Announcement! The concert happens Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith. This one-time-only event has been organized by Eric to celebrate the musical life of his dear friend, Ginger.
The line up is: Eric Clapton, Paul Carrack, Chris Stainton, Sonny Emory, Steve Gadd, Willie Weeks, Katie Kissoon and Sharon White.
Special guests are Steve Winwood, Roger Waters, Nile Rodgers, Ronnie Wood, Kofi Baker, Kenney Jones, Henry Spinetti and Will Johns.
The concert is in aid of Leonard Cheshire, a charity close to the Baker family. Leonard Cheshire offers life changing support to disabled people around the world. Projects and services support disabled adults and children to live the life they choose, creating fairer and more inclusive communities.

Its true about Ronnie , from his youth playing with THE BIRDS , at the ealing club london ) to the arrival of THE BYRDS at heathrow london in 1966 , where he and his band mates pelted ROGER MCQUINN with eggs , and they still laugh about it today and are big mates , checkout 19 year old ronnie in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGndeYB3js1grdk p.s. ronnies old house on richmond hill london is now owned by PETE TOWNSEND and his next door neighbour was mick jagger ! its also where ROD and the faces stayed in their early days of THE FACES .
