Hey Becky. We are a family of 8. I usually give each person their own day. Like Monday's is the Littles laundry, Tuesday is mine, and my husband's laundry, Wednesday is like sheets or towels, Thursday can be catch up for anything missed. Friday is my 2nd oldest sons day, Saturday is my oldest daughters day, and Sunday is my oldest sons day. This works for us. Laundry is getting done every day, but it is spread out and not so overwhelming. I also make sure I don't mix up anyone's laundry. This helps a lot as well. Each person has their own basket. I hope this helps you. You are doing amazing!!

I'm a retired teacher. We need to take computers away from elementary students. Children become completely disinterested in actual teaching. All they can think about is getting back on their devices. It is sad.

I have to disagree with you. My boys are 8 and 6 and do enjoy the computer a lot but love school and learning and are always coming home and telling something new they learned at school that didn't involve a computer. It's not all children.

Hi Becky, I agree with you so much about attitudes and devices...so true. It was so cute hearing Adaline talk to us😊. Baby sounds are so sweet🩷. If I had to pick which room, I would say the laundry room... but then the mud room if you use it to enter and exit your house in the winter. I'm one who always is. I have to do this before I do that, so nothing gets completed. I'm trying to get better about it. I saw the best laundry hack a few years ago that changed my life as a mom. Each child has their own laundry basket and their clothes are their own load, you never have to sort the family clothes again. It saves so much time and keeps the process from start to finish so manageable. Eventually the kids learn to do their own laundry and that task is completely removed from your already very busy schedule.

I have a family of 4, we usually do the laundry on Saturday or Sunday, since then it’s done to put away on Monday. It also works since by the weekend most of the weekday activities are done and all active wear can be washed.

Watching this at night, but on my list for tomorrow is getting the kids' things ready to start daycare again on Tuesday. That's really the only thing I have to do outside of regular maintenance. Summer is coming to an end, like it always does. It's bittersweet in a way for me, since I work full time and the kids are in daycare. It's nice to be back at work, but I'll miss the calm summer days enjoying life with my children.

I am a work from home mom and we are a family of 5. I have found it best to do one person’s laundry on a particular week. Example: Monday is child A, Tuesday is child B, etc. bedding is washed biweekly on the day corresponding with said child. Towels have their own day. I even have my own day as well. This helps to at least give me one day with no laundry. Sometimes during the summer when 2 children don’t have enough for a full load, I will wash both together but on one of their assigned days. Hope this helps. I know it doesn’t work for all but it has been what has worked for me and my family.

I love the more talkative vs playing music. I agree it is overplayed and sometimes it is lyrics about what someone is going through and I don’t wanna listen to that. I agree with you on tablets. We had the same issue with my now 9 yr old. We took tablets away. And saw a drastic improvement pretty quickly. We also made it where she cant access youtube on tv. We have streaming device. It made a huge difference.

I have had different methods for laundry in the different stages of life. I have 6 to wash for and I will also mention that each person’s clothes is a load. I don’t sort anymore. Things besides clothing do have their own loads. As my kids have gotten older I have switched to everyone folds their own clothes. When I worked outside the home full time I did laundry all weekend long. Now I work part time and I love doing a load a day with catch up time on the weekend. My biggest tip is to clean as you go or while you are naturally waiting on something else. Also don’t leave a room without taking something with you.

We are selling our home while living in it. It has helped force us to keep up better habits. I like to empty the dishwasher in the morning, but I’m hoping to start the dishwasher before starting bedtime routine and unload it before bed.

I’m currently a family of 4, soon we will be a family of 5. I do laundry twice a week. I don’t have a set schedule of when I do laundry but typically it’s Saturday or Sunday and then again on Wednesday or Thursday. Also, I have found it so much easier and simpler to just have one dirty laundry basket. Everyone throws their dirty clothes into it and when it’s full, I do laundry which always lands on one of those days I mentioned above. It has been my saving grace when it comes to keeping up with the laundry.

We have a laundry schedule, my family isn’t large, we are a total of 4. My oldest (14) laundry day is on Sunday, youngest (13) is Sat and my husband and I laundry is on Friday. I do bedding and towels as needed in Friday or mondays. Since my boys are older, they do their own laundry. We have it on the calendar so that it reminds them, although I ended up still having to remind them weekly.

im glad you mentioned the behavior after using the tablet, my 3 year old twin girls are going through the same phase. I really need to cut down screen time for my kids too. Here’s a laundry hack you might find helpful. I got different colored laundry baskets for each child and lined them in the laundry room. Each time the children changed clothes their job was to deposit the dirty ones into their colored basket in the laundry room. When the basket was full I would run through the washer and dryer. I had them help to fold and put away the laundry. I never had to sort laundry because the entire basket was only theirs. I never mixed mine or a younger child’s clothes in to avoid the sort waste of time. This did not align a day to do laundry because it was put through when the basket was full. I also never color sorted their clothes. Major time saver for my home.

Потому что ,если этого не делать ежедневно,то мы просто погрязнем в грязном белье. У меня вообще мало определенных дней для определенных дел. Я ежедневно мою посуду,выношу мусор,стираю, глажу и раскладываю по местам чистые вещи,мою полы,готовлю еду 2-3 раза в день,принимаю душ утром и вечером, гуляю с младшим ребенком, около часа уделяю занятиям с младшим или играю в настольные игры со старшими детьми. Мои дети мне в этом помогают .в среду и субботу мы ходим за покупками, ежемесячно с 1 по 5 число я в обязательном порядке посещаю парикмахера,косметолога, делаю педикюр, маникюр, эпиляцию и коррекцию бровей. В последние числа каждого месяца я делаю генеральную уборку одного из помещений в доме, что включает в себя и мытьё окон. Вот и весь мой распорядок уборки и ухода за собой.

We have tablets that they're only allowed to use for school (homeschool) they use them for audiobooks and math practice. Thank you for this cleaning motivation! I need to get up and clean before we have guests come over for a playdate and I needed some motivation to get uo and get it done and also needed motivation to get my camera out and film it.... I will admit I have no clue what color drenching is?? I would like to see both spaces done lol. With fall and winter coming I think the mud room would be more helpful a place for coats, mittens, boots , shoes etc. I know what a mess I felt like I had when everyone got home.
