Yesterday I start to draw and paint random objects to improve my skills. Before, I thought it was boring, because I love to draw and paint urban cityscapes. But it was very fun to do. And my techniques and how I look at thinks will be more efficient. Keep up your good work. Helps a lot of people. Even to watch is very peacefull❤

Thank you for another excellent demonstration with clear explanation. I particularly like your showing the photo of the food when you draw, so we can see how you refer to the real thing. Hope more of this in your future videos. After seeing how you made blind contour of your sandwich, I immediately took out my bun and practiced! Becky you are a very inspiring teacher. Thanks very much again.

I like how you deleted the building behind the pink building. It's fun to add or subtract from a scene or move things around to make it more interesting or appealing to the eye. Love your art Becky. Ty from Columbus, Ohio.

❤ Thank you so much for your videos. I've learned so much. I purchased the Sailor pens and the water brushes. I can't wait to start using. The sailor pens feel so good in my hand. And I'm so glad for your video showing how to fill with ink. I still need to do that so I will watch again. Your work is so interesting and love that you keep a fun diary of your life. Also you are very easy to listen to. 😊

Becky, this is my first time watching and OH my goodness…what an absolute TREAT!!! I have subscribed, of course, and look forward to watching ALL of your videos. I am just getting used to using the Fude 55- degree pen and I know I am going to learn so much from you! I am also fairly new to watercolour and am having trouble with creating shadows so found this video super-helpful. Thank you so very much and happy spring from Pembroke, Ontario!! 🤗👏🌷💕

When do you actually find the time to eat your sandwich and drink your coffee - which must have gone cold by the time you have finished your drawing! Excellent as always, by the way, and thank you for sharing and explaining your process.

There's a cafe in Portsmough NH where we go and I get the double shot decaf. Heavenly.

Interesting and entertaining. What made it interesting to me is your dialogue along the way. You incorporated your thoughts with actions and it didn't seem like a long video at all. I sorry if I missed the ink you used with your pens in this video. I'm assuming it is waterproof or archival. Thank you for creating this and sharing.

Thank you very much for your appreciation. The ink I'm using is the Noodler's brown #41.

This is really nice, Becky. Does your pallets a 12 set Mungyo watercolour or you set up the colours yourselves?
@BeckyCao7 ай бұрын
The palette is mostly the original 12 colors from Mungyo. I added in "Simply Red" and "raw umber" from Etchr; "viridian green" and cobalt blue" from Russian White Night.

Nice sketch as usual. 2 hours limit to stay in the cafe 😐. Is that rule standard in Canada?

Hi Becky.. I was wondering which ipod you use for recording and editing

It's just an iPhone 8 Plus for filming. Then I use iMovie on my MacBook Pro to edit.

I have a question, I ordered Sailor's fountain pens and the Noodler's ink. The pens came with two ink tubes. My question is, when the ink runs out, how to fill the tube with Noodler's ink? Or did I ordered the wrong type of pen? Thanks. Edit: googled, seems like I need to buy converter. Is it right? Does Sailor's converter fits any Sailor's pen? Thanks.
@BeckyCao6 ай бұрын
Yes, you need to get an ink converter from Sailor. :) The two ink tubes contains non-waterproof ink and lines will run if you paint over.
@indie81896 ай бұрын
@@BeckyCao Thanks for your reply. Just ordered two converter from Sailor. I assume their converters fit all their pens.
