Im up in Scotland but the roads are absolutely filthy. i have been using armorall glass cleaner with ceramic on my mirrors and side windows (its pretty naff on the fronts) keeps them cleaner for a bit longer. I would love to get into cattle/ agri work but I have no background in it lol

Don’t worry about your lorry, wash the diesel out of your eyes first. It’s carcinogenic and can cause cancer if ingested or absorbed. (Can you tell I’m on my ADR course this week). Stay safe out there Becky. 😎🇬🇧

Maybe not driving a wagon but think we've all had days like that Becky, that feeling of time being against us and the jobs/tasks that need doing and then having to wash the equipment, apply grease etc. while thinking about what needs doing next and thinking 'there'll not be enough time before...'. A good nights kip and a bit of rest will clear it out of the system. One place where I worked, the diesel tank had a valve that had to be closed when the pump was turned off but some numpty forgot one Friday afternoon. Next morning the area near it had flooded (and so had the shed next to it) to a depth of about 2 inches - no bund around tank (that's another story). Not so bad that it couldn't be cleaned up etc but another numpty put pictures on social media before telling anybody what had happened - numpty one never owned up, numpty two was given a final warning.

I am interested to know how you work out your time for working during the day and editing at night? Does that need to be recorded as manual entries on your card for other work? There is molasses in the salt Becky to make it stick to the roads.

What paper work do you keep to be able to invoice the farmers for each job done. ???

We just fill out a log book then I do the invoicing at home and send the customer all there loads for the month ect

You are wrong, Becky, they DO use salt on the roads in the EU. It's mainly sodium chloride but occasionally calcium chloride.

the 24 hr clock is easy to remember becks if its 2pm just add 2 which gives you 4. so its 14.00hrs ... 3 is 15.oohrs 4 is 16.oo etc etc .great vlog gal , takes me back when i drove for, j t padbury. northampton. do you get much bother with, animal rights, messing with ur trucks.....
