Do you integrate slack into the communication with your clients? Some of our clients have really enjoyed being part of a slack channel because it is quick and easy connection to us. Quick questions can be answered without needing a formal email and calls can be quickly organized to discuss a certain topic.

Yes please, make a video about Microsoft Teams too. Many people could use it at their companies, but they don't because they simply ignore how much it could improve their work. I work as freelance, when I was on Office 365 I tried to use Microsoft Teams with my customers but it was hard to convince them. Then I moved to G Suite (for me it's better than Office 365) + Slack but it's the same situation ... it's frustrating to see how many people are reluctant to invest even 30 mins of their time to try to do something in a more efficient way. That's why I love your work and I'm an avid follower of your channel.

Hi, do you use slack only for internal communications or do you communicate with customers also via slack?
@aremedyproject95694 жыл бұрын
I think it’s like public texting amongst all the people in the teams of a company and pretty well ALL employees and the public can see the communications amongst employees and about 80% of it all should be public for it to function as it’s meant to. Think texting plus long tweets replacing your company’s internal email system. (Cuz email sucks.) Slack is more inclusive and collaborative. People can participate better. It sounds great. I would use it.

Great! Love it. I am a fan ofc but still nice work. Almost all the other content I have read or watched about slack use has always been click bait (or an article that's really an ad). The marketing power of the unicorn is hard to overcome. Nice to see real world use case / example. Some Interesting ideas and something to think about. As the person responsible for introducing slack to our organizations I am constantly evaluating use and effectiveness. I remain unconvinced often. Question: How do you (or do you) use slack (channels) to organize very private conversations? e.g. ongoing chats / conversations between you and your CTO or CFO. Threads are obvious but I think they are terrible and unorganized.

This a great start for an introduction to Slack, thanks for making this! I'd be keen to know what integrations you do use, and if there's any way you test if they're being used or not, and get rid of those that aren't useful for the team?

The definition of slack is someone or something weak, slow, relaxed or careless. An example of slack is an elastic waistband that has lost its elasticity. An example of slack is someone who takes twice as long to do a job as another.

I really dislike putting people down. I know how much work does into making one of these videos. So this is a critique, not a criticism. I'm sure the content was good, but I couldn't get past 5 minutes due to audio. I understand you were going to a raw feel -- including the hair light in the shot and all. It's just that when audio is bad, it's hard to watch a video. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.

Let's get a pop shield but then stick ourselves in a large empty room so that the microphone picks up a dozen echoes. So why do we need a pop shield? ........ TO LOOK COOL
@christophmagnussen3 жыл бұрын
Well, a pop screen is there, as the name suggests, to prevent pop noises. Either way, we can't suppress the reverb. But why not at least avoid pop noises, right? :)
@mikael70713 жыл бұрын
@@christophmagnussen Yeah I hate it when I'm on a video conference call and the other attendees get pops because I'm so far from the mic that it doesn't matter. Good point. If you care about your acoustics and aren't going for aesthetics, but also intend to sit there, rather invest in smart dampening solutions. Your content was good, this visual composition and the horrendous audio just wasn't. Thankfully, I see this is a very old video (I only came for Slack) and your newer stuff looks way better.. So let's not make too much of my comment 😌
