You can't beat there nose, no matter what you do. They are full time wild animals, we are part time hunters. If you get the wind wrong you're done.

There was some factor that allowed them to take a deer on the wrong wind, thermals, busting in chasing a doe or just immature. But if a mature buck smells you, he wins you can bet on that! You can't beat it. No scent killer will cover you. Better off keeping your $ and use the wind cause he will smell that 1 molecule of odor leaving your body

ahhaha, Now the guy at about 3:42 of this video says he Sprays down after getting out of the truck, and then again before he gets into the stand but then as he picks up his pack and rifle, he leaves the Rifle case and Scent Killer on the tailgate of the truck, I thought that was kinda comical.

John odonnell 100%! When my friend and I go to a farm, it has a 700 yd field. He hunts 1/2 way down somewhere, I go to the far end. When Im coming back out at dark, still not totally black out, I can see his face from 100 yds away! After he takes his mask off!

My brother in law drinks coffee and smokes in the stand. Deer are curious animals they will come in to find that smell.

You know the one thing that I noticed that all of these "pros" are making is that they are not wearing gloves. Skin cells fall off constantly and are a source of scent, so why not limit that by wearing gloves? it's a simple task guys c'mon

Everything comes down to money me and a friend of mine did a hunting radio show for years l met most popular guys on tv was told many times off the air lots of things are said and done just because they have to push there sponsors calling put in later after the hunts were over so take it all with a grain of salt

I don't understand this new age hunting idealism. I have shot deer with a cigarette hanging from my mouth. I have shot deer just after taking a piss. Crashing through the woods, yup shot deer doing that as well. Talking out loud, yup seen deer that way as well. I have literally stared down a down a doe from 40 yards away while I raised my rifle to shoot while I was standing completely in the open. I was standing in the middle of a field with work cloths on ( I am a diesel mechanic) and had a small buck walk the edge in full view with no signs of being alarmed of my presence, and he certainly knew I was there. The key is the deer have to be comfortable. As long as they don't feel threatened it's all good. This past Saturday was the opening day of rifle season here in Maine. I was in my tree stand at day break when I noticed a doe looking right at me. She knew I was there, but simply wandered into the woods, no alarms, no signals, no running. I do not now nor have I ever used fancy cent blockers, cent killers or buck lures. I don't discount there are ways we can improve our chances or success at hunting, but I also believe much of what we see today are fancy marketing plows to line the pockets of the advantageous.
