The only one single line that RDR 2 John says which is similar to RDR 1 John is - "It's John Marston Micah!" , besides that his whole line delivery and attitude is completely different

His dialogue and overall demeanour is awkward and unexperienced in rdr2 in my opinion, in rdr1 is a lot more direct and gets so pissed off easily. But I guess that’s what happens when you take a man’s family away.

Classic cowboy retextures of outfit is much better nowadays. Also if i were you i'd install fix floating bandolier mod too it basically makes bandolier fit more Also classic cowboy adds a mod to add John's RDR1 belt to game which it is more accurate since it is ported from rdr1.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I had a fff error with extented JMA so I installed JMAOV2.7 instead and it works great. It's so good to have an accurate John Marston. A quick question though, do you know if there's a mod that restore his combat dialogue from RDR1? I already use the cut dialogue mod but it obviously doesn't contain the RDR1 dialogue.

thanks but the 1911 John face mod sucks, somehow they updated it to look shit when it used to look good. And the classic cowboy outfit shirt has elbows peeking through shirt textures.

Looks fine to me, and I downloaded it months after it was uploaded, yeah the elbows will do that, try switching weights to lessen it, but it won't be gone completely.

Don’t know why my comment got deleted but: Great video! There's definitely been some major updates to the list though. There's JMRE which includes a bunch of stuff both on the nexus download and in the discord server’s exclusives. There’s also the RDR1 Inspired Equipment and Leg-Strap mods, which make the beta pants + the need to download multiple equipment mods obsolete. JMFAO also recently got a new update too, and the RDR1 body and arms mod isn't really accurate to the actual RDR texture and has artifacting on certain spots which makes it kinda meh. Thought you and anyone else watching might be interested in that stuff.

been trying to figure out the lasso on belt and rifle holster for hours and before i had gotten the rifle to invert but now nothing is working and i’ve never been able to get the lasso on belt to work and i’ve just run out of ideas i’ve watched countless videos and nothing works

Go to your lml folder and in the search bar type “weapons” make sure there’s only 1 weapons file and it belongs to the lasso on belt mod. And make sure you get ONLY the textures from the inverted rifles mod, NOT the other files.

Is there any way to only use JMRE for the character model and JMRP clothing files to make them available for purchase at the fence? I can't stand the weird JMRP scalp with the hair tattoo. Also the JMRP hair that NPC John has in the story isn't accurate at all to RDR1 John. JMRE does a much better job on restoring the RDR1 John hair but JMRP has more accurate RDR1 outfits.

the save file thing happens because of the rifle holster mod idk how to fix it so either remove it entirely or you can do what i do move the files to another folder temporarily (like downloads or something) boot up the game and switch save file save close the game and put the files back in the stream folder start the game back up again and boom now you're on the save you wanted to switch to

I'm not sure which mod is causing this so that's why I'm here basically every gun acts like a double-action revolver even if I'm using a cattleman or some other gun that isn't a double action.

Oh I had that problem too, can’t remember what sorted it but I’m very sure this was the solution. From the inverted rifles mod, DO NOT take anything else but the stream file from that mod, you don’t need it. The thing that enables inverted rifles is the lasso on belt mod. If you’re not sure or don’t understand refer back to the video and view the prt with inverted rifles and lasso on belt.

You make the replace and stream folder yourself. Just right click and create new file in lml and be sure to name it "stream or "replace" which ever one ya want.

Hi. I need some help as When i Downloaded Rifle holster and Lasso on belt mods it did not work, The rifle holster was there but the gun strap was still around me and the Lasso did not Go on my belt and Yes I did install the 'Lasso on belt with inverted rifle' but I can't get ether one to work.
