I had a copy of nexus on the ps2, I remember watching the ac1 cg trailer that was on the bonus disc time and time again.

Another Age, Nexus, and Last Reven are my favorites. And I don't know why opening compilations can leave them out, skipping right to AC4 from 3 & SL. I also really like Master Of Arena's opening, and the AC Olympics, Ninebreaker.

Also I personally believe that where likely link to the core then download to it, since clearly the body is damage beyond repair but the brain is still functional so connecting you to the core is likely your only way to interact or see the world around you but i could be wrong.🤔🐱

I also keep thinking back to the other trailer referencing as a augmented human as well. Won't know for sure till we get a closer look.

If you watch 621's body once the mech starts booting up the body stops breathing. So the theory is now Human+ is directly uploading people into cores

So the trailer is FANTASTIC and i would like to take note of the little context clues sprinkled throughout. (note: I'm _very_ new to Armored Core stuff so there may be some details I'm missing.) It's seems that we are "621", a brand new "hound" unit made from a new Core and the consciousness of old hound unit "617" after they incapacitated themselves and was brought to "Handler Walter". It sounds like Walter and the guy he's speaking to, see 617 as more of a resource and this operation was just thier way of preserving a quality unit rather then saving them out of kindness. And an interesting thing i noticed about "Squad Alpha 1" is that while 619 is KIA and 617 was incapacitated, 618 is absent ( if they existed in the first place) and 620 may STILL be alive as they say "620 signal lost" instead of "620 vital signs lost" like they did with 619. And that's about all i picked up, the trailer is great and i would like to get my hands on the game when it comes out. 👍

guessing from the dialogue of the other guy, 621 is just another augmented human not a recycled 617

620 literally got shredded when it was blasting shotgun shots at the tank, they are dead they just use different terminology to describe there deaths

He said what did they do to us, I would imagine that even being augmented wouldn't save you from damage over time if you've been fighting in mechs for an extended period of time. Your character probably needed his entire body reconstructed from a previous mission. Such an existence sounds painful though. Get effed up in a mech, get reconstructed, get sent on another mission to pilot another mech and cycle repeats until you get fully killed lol.

Human+ in old gen look human (AC1, Leo Klein, Zinaida, the girl from Tower City blade). 6th gen we look like a corpse. My theory is 621 body has actually died, and the consciousness was transfer to AC. C4 621 = Consciousness Mumber 4 - 9. We're Nineball lol.

I was of a similar view, but more shown off suggests otherwise. It seems the augmentation in 6's timeline got more and more invasive over time, since there's a Gen 1 augmentation pilot as an enemy in the game, who comments that 'Generation 4's like you can make good hounds with training.' sarcastically. I'm willing to bet at some point, the reason to make new generations of augmentation was not improved combat performance, but improved 'loyalty'.
