Ok but being a fantasy creature character as your gender inspiration works so well for you. You have such an ethereal/otherworldly vibe to you that simply being a princess or knight just doesn’t do your essence justice. You are not a simple human but definitely something not of this realm gracing mortals with your presence 🙌✨

I watch it for the first time a couple of weeks ago when I heard it was your fav movie ! Gotta say it was surprising, magical, sweet, beautiful and omg scary too sometimes ! Quite an avdenture, and so much work put in it ! I liked it ! My fav movies are the LOTR (book as well, Tolkien nerd here), and I got to say that I always felt drawned to elvish people. I felt too masculine to be a "normal" girl, and to feminine to be a guy, and Elvish people are such a mixt of everything. A sweet masculinity melt with strong femininity. So I feel you when you say you related more to fictional creatures as a kid. I love your outfits ! You really have the eye to capture the essence of characters ! I never dared to try and dress with fanatsy inspired looks, because I was scared people would look me weirdly or I was gonna feel like a clown. Thanks to you, I'm actually making the perfect Legolas inspired outfit :) It should be ready soon ! Thank you for being yourself, because your are inspiring others to be themselves too. And has always, thx for vibes :) Take care

This comment really warms my heart 😭 💕 thank you so much. Tolkien was also really good at portraying that blend! I can see it I’m not only the elves, but also the hobbits, in Gandalf, and Aragorn. Wish more fantastical worlds & modern set stories would explore it more. I’m so so happy to hear you’re making a Legolas outfit! He’s an icon. You should send me a pic when you do ☺️

PS the message of the story / DC (truths like: all is connected, in overall view the world is a spiritual thing, it´s NOT this good-fighting against -evil thing, but both parts shall unite to a greater balanced unity..) means so much to me since 1983. These things had/ still have a great influence to many of my bigger decisions.Like I refuse to become part of this modern earn-as much money-as you can-consume things and things, thinking all material, and so on... And I´m really glad that Gelfling society really must have been a matriarchal one! For that you even don´t need the netflix films, there are tiny things in the movie which tell it, like: UrSu said "I told you everything about Skeksis"- Jen replied:" Yes-they killed my Mother....., and my father.".
