I’ve had guinea pigs for my whole life and this is probably one of the only KZbinrs who have done everything right!! The cage is good, they have chew toys and water!! They are adorable and they will be scared for a while but will get used to you when they realise that you are the person who gives them food😂

I know this has been 3 yrs ago but if you want the guinea pigs to try to use the litter box, then you should keep the bedding in the litter box and replace the bedding that is throughout the cage with fleece. Very cute!!

They’re so cute and I love how cute you made their cage! I have a rabbit that will let me pick her up and give her pets but she can still be nervous/on edge, and we’ve had her for about a year. All animals are different of course and take their own time to get comfortable. You just have to be able to love them no matter if that day never quite comes 💖

The cage is so cuye but the little box in the corner were they have to do their thing you could take it out cause they are still gonna poop and pee everywhere so just so theres a little more room for the piggies

Lovely cage, I love how excited and nervous you are, its natural to feel both I would recommend switching the sawdust for fleece to prevent respiratory infections and to not get the fleece cuddle cup messy Also with the hay, a hay bag made of fleece with tiny holes should be better than the hay rack but make sure to do small holes and if the holes are too small just make them a little bigger Don't forget their water bottle 🙂 Guinea Pigs are scared of being picked up but when they are held they usually settle once they get used to you holding them Being a Piggies parent is amazing and they are enjoyable to watch Yours are so very cute

Omg they're so cute 😄. If they don't use the litter tray you can always try using a fleece with puppy pads underneath, and that way you're not using as much woodchips and it'll make the cage a lot easier to clean as well. It's a really nice cage tho and I'm really glad you did your research 😊.

I’m getting my guinea pigs tomorrow and I got them from the breeder very responsible I’ve had a guinea pig before and you’re doing the proper things except just make sure nothing has glue and make sure that your guinea pigs don’t to the string that you’re hanging your little things on that’s only thing I wanted to tell you and I just hope you listen to me thanks

You did great with your set-up the only thing I noticed is the corner litter box I would recommend one for a cat because the corner ones will not work (even if they say they work) for guinea pigs

I’d take the litter box out as guinea pigs don’t tend to use them and taking it out will give them more floor space little bit more bedding minimum of 2 inches for their little feet

Hello I'd really reconsider as they can get really depressed on there own. Guinea pigs need at least one other friend, it's actually illegal in switzerland to get one guinea pig on its own as it's cruel 🤧 if you are only allowed one pet perhaps look into another animal like hamsters or a bunny (which are all equally as cute!) 🤗

You should put hay in the litter box and have one water bowl/bowl and one food bowl for each guinea pig. I would also you fleece blankets instead of bedding. Just a suggestion please don’t get mad at me

You might wanna move that cute pink poster thats behind their cage. When I used to have guinea pigs they’d splatter this green liquid on the walls (maybe I just had particularly gross piggies lol). Either way I hope you and them have a wonderful time together 💕💕
