This video...was extremely uncomfortable to make, mostly because of my deep-seated body image issues. But by posing for a Nude Art/Life Modelling workshop, I learnt when you jump headfirst into the unknown and get out of your comfort zone to tackle your fears, it arms you with confidence to tackle the next challenge.

At University we had nude models in sketching class . The models were all ages and all body types and there was a 1 foot platform for them to pose on too . You would be surprised at the different body types . Bug framed people, overweight people , elderly people were nude models . But as an artist and sculpture, you need to understand all body types . People come in all shapes and sizes .

This was so fun!!! Some of the poses you took made me wince; as a former (retired) professional, there are some poses I tried once--and only once. This is physical work, and it kept me in the best shape of my life without ever going to a gym. It was fun hearing your joy as you looked at the drawings and exclaimed, "This is me!" I used to love that part. Thank you.

i did it for the first time quite awhile ago because my bff had to cancel because she’d broken both arms and recommended me to the art teacher and I did it and it was completely liberating and definitely helped my get over myself

I'm a bit late to the party, but well done Aaron. I felt exposed and insecure myself and it wasn't even me doing it. My insecurities would have been about not being as trim as I used to be and fearful of everyone in the room staring at my dangly bits and judging me. I did this back in my college days (1980s) in New Jersey, USA. I got something like $50 for a two hour class. You got a couple of 5 minute breaks, but you were instructed not to talk to the students. You put on your robe, and walked to the bathroom to sit down and relax. Aaron, where are you? I hear Aussie accents on all of you, but I also hear mention of K-Mart, which was a famous US chain of stores (like Walmart, today). Finally,, How much did you get paid?
