Hello, I'm also "new" to the book community. I've always been a huge book lover but just recently rekindled my love for books. I'm currently reading ACOTAR (A court of thorns and roses) and it is.... so-so. It's a bit of a mixed bag for me but so far my favorite character is also Tamlin, I'm nearly done with book 1 and have lended book 2 from the library (I could have bought it as well but since I saw it in my local library I thought why not lend it if it's there already). I have a lot of popular books on my to-read list, to name a few: Red queen, the cruel prince, powerless, the will of many, pride and prejudice, dark matter, clockwork angel, defy the night, six of crows, fourth wing. I've also lended the first book of the hunger games. I've seen the whole movie series and I am a huge fan of it so I thought why not check out the book as well. I'm a huge fantasy lover and I also love magic systems... I've yet to read books with magic systems I like (except for Harry Potter, love that one a lot), but hopefully I will stumble upon some in the future. I really like how you decorated your room. I would never make my room look like yours but I really enjoyed what you did. Hope you have a nice week!

i love how i have found some readers who are like boats on the sea with this video (reading comes in waves for some of us since life usually comes in the way for us to 100% enjoy our hobbies) i love the fact that you lend books from the library (as a kid my mum and i went to every single library in stockholm so we could borrow the Nancy Drew books (in sweden she is named Kitty for some reason), they were my favourite and it is such a precious memory i have from my childhood - the library should get more recognition in the book community!) Pride and prejudice is fantastic and i really loved Red Queen but had a really hard time to get through the second book in that series (maybe i'll give it another go) thank u for your sweet comment and i hope you'll have a wonderful rest of your week!

I'm still getting into reading myself, so all the books I've read so far are all pretty popular ones/I haven't read too many, but I do think I can recommend a few! I just finished six of crows, (Haven't read crooked kingdom yet) and it is definitely one of my favorites, I think you'll love it too (hopefully) The silent patient is a thriller/mystery and was super interesting- I loved Foul Lady Fortune as well which I'm pretty sure has it's sequel out now too, and you have to read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak if you haven't already! Your bookshelf is super cute, can't wait to see more!

Omg thank u so much for all the recommendations! I’m honestly so excited to read six of crows and i have heard some mixed reviews about the silent patient but i’m willing to give it a go! The foul lady fortune and the book thief are being added to my cart right now (i have a feeling that i will cry reading the book thief but as Mikasa from attack on titan says ”the world is cruel but it is also very beautiful” the connection between humans and sharing crafts (such as reading) with one another truly is beautiful)

@@Isabellemelins Definitely prepare yourself for the book thief, you’ll feel so many emotions!! I also have mixed feelings about the silent patient, but still enjoyed it nonetheless! Love Mikasa and her wise words
