My world is melting. So I'm from good ol' Greta Thunberg Sweden and did an absolute bonkers road trip across the United States right before the pandemic hit. The best part was when we reached Texas, which we drove right through down to San Antonio. Seeing you walk the very same places I had just been at is a bit surreal but this is by far the price winner. I stood in that very first boots shop you went to, in fact, remember that exact shelf corner you looked at. They were, like every other Texan we met, very kind. They would speak few words but enough to carry meaning. Although this had only ever been my 2nd visit to America, Texas brought a sense of nostalgia as it reminded us of something Sweden used to be. I've been to plenty of places around the world, nearly all continents, and never have I met kinder folk. My mother proudly walks her bicycle shop in town with the boots she got in that shop, a real audible and visual catcher for anyone who walks in. Thank you Texas and Texans for reminding us of home in a way we never thought to be reminded of again.

Fifth generation Texan, and I came into this thinking it was going to be one of those videos that just were massive exaggerations of what people think we are. Very pleasantly surprised to see that it was not. I don't dress like that now, but for many years, more than thirty, I did for the most part.
