I recommend using reference, I've been doing this for around 7 months. I recommend Kinnie Port, and make your own textures!!! I can not say that more, your own textures allow a sense of completion to your work. Truly making it felt like you made it! And not someone else, starting it's incredibly hard, but I really recommend Gimp! (Btw for auras and such make sure to have the properity :Locked to part: ALWAYS Enabled!!)

the fire vfx was hella clean but escanor's aura was mostly like flame that stuck to him and it was kinda like when you looked behind him whilst looking at him there would be a light bend because it was so hot around him. Just a 7DS fanboy dont mind me lmao (just light criticism) but the flames imo are supposed to stick to him as some sort of thin layer if you get it? Anyways, amazing video and dont mind me lol

nice work!. If you can't figure out how to keep the magic circles in place to spin i at least suggest that you make it transparent in the transparency graph before it disappears so its not that spontaneous.

To do something like that is acutally simple! For it to stay in place all you need is the properity locked to part enabled, for the magic circle spinning, it's much harder. Rot speed, and probably infinite or sum on lifetime with 1 rate? Just guessing because I've never tried it!

Tho not every effects look nice with fog . Fog is a key thing for auras . For exemple every sols rng aura has fog . Also during the time u do nothing watch tutorials . Even some you already watched . You might think it is useless but u will remember the info better and watching new ones might expand ur knowledge . But ye pushing urslef everyday or atleast constitantly will get u results

2.recreate what they do in the tutorial . Atleast what u think looks usefull or cool. It will make u actually do the effects in a way and remember how u made it . Myself I learned how to make ground auras from 2 tutorials and they are now my base on how you make ground auras. Also it will create assets u can modify .let's say a fire ball u learned how to make , and u modify it into something similar . 3. tho it isn't needed à lot of times ,give the texture a color sequence instead of only one .
