Our senior’s church group once visited an Amish buggy farm in Yoder, Kansas one year to see how they make their buggies! It was very interesting! We also had a delicious, old fashioned meal at an Amish farm and visited an Amish flea market at a little town in Oklahoma. You can pick up some interesting old fashioned but very useful items at their hardware store in Yoder! It is a wonderful, nostalgic experience for us older folks who remember our grandparents using many of these same items when we were young! You are making many happy memories for your boys by giving them all these experiences! Keep up the good work!

I grew up horse and buggy, still Mennonite but not horse and buggy, I had to laugh to hear the music on your horse and buggy ride🤣love your singing videos, yes because somebody is Amish or Mennonite don't automatically make them Born Again Christians, still need to be born again! We were all born as sinners, we need to make a choice,, Mennonite or Amish or whatever it may be is the lifestyle you chose to follow the Bible way, the way you see best for your life, thanks for all your hard work, I appreciate your boys enthusiasm

Its ashame there is not more outreach or ways to bring people into Amish and Mennonite community. In many parts of the country, many people that are considered English, actually have direct ancestry to the Amish and Mennonite communities and are direct descendants from several generations before. Where I grew up in Pa, the one thing myself and most of my friends had in common was that on maternal or paternal sides, we all had relatives generations before that were born and raised in those communities. They often left or were separated due to marriage, work, or personal choices. Some might have even been thrown out. My family was because of marriage outside the faith. A lot of us know bits of Pennsylvania Dutch, stories, expressions. Some had the accent from parents or relatives but couldn't speak a lick of it. It would be nice if they had a way to open the door to let descendants find a way back to a society they are descendants of.
