+David Crandall it doesnt matter what you want to be, you have to put work into it or you will be unsuccessful. whether that's becoming a barber, a technician, a choreographer, a singer, an artist, a pharmacist, a muslim, a buddist, a chemist, a woman, or simply wealthy. you put hard work and effort into it, just as the lady in the video has in her physical transition. but you're right, you will never be wealthy so as long as you continue to sit on your ass and judge, criticize, and worry about what the next person is doing in their life.

+jakthebomb Thanks for responding. I feel honored. I was referring to the past that I remember. In the 1970's transgenderism was being discussed openly due to a few prominent people who were in the media spotlight. Renee Richards was one of them. Her struggles were complicated by the fact that resources were limited as well as understanding and acceptance. Thank you for sharing your struggle with insurance. There is a crack down on what companies deem worthy of coverage all across the board of conditions. It also depends on where you live, doesn't it? Some areas have a larger trans community and have access to clinics and doctors. I didn't mean to demean or diminish your struggle, just looking at it from a historical aspect. Proud of you!

So do you really believe that happiness is of greater importance then truth? If one is happy while living a lie, a life of confusion and headed for hell what then? Should we encourage people in their deception to keep them happy while their life is being destroyed?
@mariem72507 жыл бұрын
If you are inspired by someone giving into deception and living a life of confusion and lies then you are in trouble. Could you please keep the nasty language under control. It's hateful to attack people with dirt words who you don't. It's another thing to tell the truth. Telling the truth isn't hate. What's bad and damaging is to support destructive behavior. I came across your profile when searching for something about Colin Moriarty as I am a big fan of his. I disagreed with some of the points you made in that video (and some of his points as well) but that's besides the point as I saw a rude comment about you being transgender. I then looked through your profile and came across this video. I just wanted to leave you a comment and say kudos for having the courage to make a change like this in your life. This is a bittersweet video. Its awesome that you were able to transition into who you thought you should have been born as but its sad that you were stuck in a body you didn't identify with. It takes a lot of strength to be who you really are despite other people's opinions.

I'm so glad you showed very little if any signs of make up in your transition photos. It allowed us viewers to see your complexion change. Truly remarkable by the way. Also I love your pendent that you wore religiously throughout all your photos. Subtle but very affirmative. When I begin my transition I want every available girl I meet to know I'm gay. I hate it that the general impression people get of trans girls is that we all do it to get men. You are so pretty. I wish you the best.

Andrew Velicky Oops! Shows you how much I know. Wow I was way of base. maybe she is into guys and I made it sound as if there is something wrong with that. I'm so embarrassed, especially when her pendant still holds a very important meaning power, wisdom, and courage. It's okay though because she is still my inspiration. I want my transition to mirror hers. and I would love to have a pendant like hers that means a lot to me so I thank her.
@AnthonyRizzo29 жыл бұрын
***** Thanks for the link *:D*
@AnthonyRizzo29 жыл бұрын
davina wendy I mistakenly thought the pendant she wore in all her photos was the triangle that symbolizes gay pride. A very important identifier for a transgender woman to let other women know that she is into girls. This is what led me to believe she is a lesbian, into girls, not boys. However I was wrong. Her pendent is from Zelda. It's called the triforce and it symbolizes power, wisdom and courage not gay pride at all. So my assumption based on the pendent that she is into girls is wrong. I don't know her sexual orientation at all. I was excited about seeing a transwoman who is gay because most that I've seen on You Tube are not. I know for my self that I've loved not just women but especially gay women, especial soft butch and tomboys since I was very young long before I even knew that transgender even existed and now that I know it does and that it applies to me I'm looking everywhere for role models and it's hard to find someone like me. I want to transition because I know I felt female since my earliest days and I know what type of women has attracted me. I know that I'm not into boys. I'm attracted to soft butch lesbians, always have been and I don't see that changing but knowing now that I'm transgender helps validate my orientation and my attraction and helps me feel not so alone. I only wish I knew other transwomen who felt the same.

Okay, all you Bible Preachers. The bible teaches that God controls all. This is the "Mysterious ways" concept. So why would God allow this woman to believe and know that she is a woman if she was not? Read your own script, I took Bible School for 7 years and I have found no problems with transgenders in the bible. Muchless, I disregard the rest. Because do you understand that you are NOT supposed to judge? That is the NUMBER ONE THING in the bible is NOT TO JUDGE. You are to treat everyone with respect and dignity because THE BIBLE teaches that only God and Jesus have the power to judge us humans. What right do you have to assert yourself upon the throne of the God you worship? Saying that you have the importance, the balls to say that you are equal to God?
@mariem72507 жыл бұрын
Christians are to judge righteously by the word of God. He gave us His word so that we can divide truth from error!!! It's judging by ones own feeling and opinions that is wrong and spoken against in the bible. God also gave us a conscience to know right from wrong. When we reject his word and rebel our hearts can get hard and we can become spiritually blind by our unbelief and sinful rebellion. Yes I agree that we should treat everyone with love but that does not mean we support sin. If you had a friend killing himself with his love for drugs would it be a loving thing to support and encourage him in a habit that could lead to his death because it makes him FEEL GOOD ABOUT HIMSELF? Christians are to hate sin. God is not A push over who goes along with everything to make every one feel happy and accepted.. God convicts people of their sin because it's destructive and he loves people! Sin has consequences every time. Unrepentant, persistent sin leads to the loss of ones soul for eternity.
@mariem72507 жыл бұрын
ps... God does not force anyone to love Him or to live by the truth. People who choose to live contrary to His word do it by choice! People become deluded and deceive by refusing to listen to God who is willing and able to lead them on the right path. Please don't tell me that people like Carla and Chelsea don't have a choice unless you can prove that they became transgender by force at gun point.

Hi katherine, I wonder that estrogone leads to beard loss or not? Have you used any chemical to beardloss?(excepting laser treatment )
@Michaela_Foktova8 жыл бұрын
+hulk8889 Hormones do help somewhat - the area covered by facial hair can diminish, they grow slower and get thinner, but as far as I know they do not vanish completely. So if you want to get rid of them once and for all, then laser or similar methods will probably be needed. This also depends on how much of them have you had before - for example I'm lucky that I've been not so infested like many of my contemporaries, so it might be easier for me to beat my beard :-)

I think you are a beautiful woman and deserve much more respect as a person. To see all this judgment out there can make anyone get pissed at the world. But the good thing to understand is that there are actually open-minded good people among us who try to understand rather then judge. Who have lived a life and understand struggle and pain. I believe you should listen to some older trans people even if some don't pass as well. They know this kind of struggle and pain and have been through it for much longer. It can be a beautiful life, But it is what you make of it. I think your doing great though!

Keith Nitro As a straight male I ask you how the fuck does this hurt you in anyway? This is what made her happy. Whether you believe its mentally linked or not is besides the point. She took action to take control of her life to be who she felt she should be. None of her decisions affect you in any way. So please climb down off that high as fuck horse you road in on and crawl back home. Her choices do not affect your ability to live life happily so why should your negative feelings be allowed to affect hers?
@Sirg17x8 жыл бұрын
You see that is where I have a problem. Anyone who wishes another person would pick death over some level of happiness is damn near less than human as it shows a lack of basic human levels of empathy or at the very least sympathy. Again this person has found happiness and it affects you in absolutely no way. Your hate is for the sake of hate. You can believe and feel what you want, but as I see it that should only affect your day to day actions. You have no right to impart your will or beliefs unto others. So as long as she does not hold you down and force you to make the same life choices I see there as being no wrong here other than your want to hate someone for being different than yourself.
@Sirg17x8 жыл бұрын
+Keith Nitro Nothing illegal about it so might as well lock yourself in your room. As far as religion goes we live in a society allowing for freedom of religion or lack there of. Again I am not here to say I understand the science or biology that leads to the level of diversity we have within the human race, but I do know that this women's decisions are her own and in no way affect my life therefore why does it matter (here is that common sense you asked for)? Why is it so hard for people to love and respect other people for the sake of human decency?

Btw, Catherine, what jobs have you been in and where do you work now? I heard that while here in Czech republic the HRT and other parts of transition is mostly covered by the state insurance, the US (and many other countries) make it much harder for people like us - they allegedly have to pay even for hormones, which makes the transition even more difficult (in terms of a need to find and keep a job). Is that true?
@Michaela_Foktova8 жыл бұрын
+davina wendy This is just what I said - in our country, we have it covered by state insurance. I mean the hormones and then the SRS. All other procedures (facial modifications, facial or body hair removal etc.) are naturally paid :) I ask because the downside of this is (or at least recently was) that the MtF have been somewhat forced to go to the SRS (if they did not want due to any concerns, they had to stuck by using a neutral name and did not get a "F" in their papers), so I was wondering whether it would be better for me to move somewhere elsewhere.

I don't know how I stumbled onto this video. I'm very happy for you. I don't agree whatsoever that people are born the wrong sex or that gender dysphoria means that you must become the opposite gender. I don't really support all this transgender stuff going on in America today. However, I do NOT back anyone who is violent, hateful, or somehow discriminatory towards a transgender person. But what does "discriminatory" really mean, is the million dollar question?! If I see you and think you are a man, I will call you he, him, and his. And the opposite is true. It's how I perceive you and how you come across to people. No hate or bigotry or transphobia meant. I don't even think there IS such a thing as "transphobia." They are slapping the "phobia" word onto other words all too often these days. I treat people how I'd like to be treated, whether or not I agree with your lifestyle. After all, it's YOUR life and in America, you can live it almost any way you want to. So again, I'm very happy for you. How did your boobs get so big so quickly? Just from HRT? Anyhow, God bless you. Jeremy Johnson Actually No, I am a girl. Biology is far more complex than your simple little head is able to comprehend.
@Gayandproudtobe7 жыл бұрын
Do you understand the difference between sex and gender? Sex is the biological form that you were born in and or the body that you currently possess. Gender is a SOCIAL CONCEPT. It is which sex you are internally and would like to be referred to. (Use google if you don't believe me, dumbass.) Also, following along with this. This "dude's" biology is now a female due to transitioning to that OF a woman. The fact that you are presumptuous enough to state something that is completely false bewilders me. I suggest you get your head out of your ass and do research. It is being theorized that being 'transgender' isn't a social thing or nuture or anything like that, but instead it is caused during the first phase of development of a fetus. Where the transgender part comes in, is that every fetus starts off AS a female. (This is also why men have nipples. We start as women.) Where the being trapped in the wrong body thing comes in, is that people can be born with a male body, but a female brain and visa versa. So, I suggest you do research on ACTUAL intellectual things, rather than doing research on how to be a dick. She looked beautiful in that ball gown and all of the other photos. So stop being a dick and move forward with your life. It's 2016, not 1956.

Shame on those of you belting out so much hate from within yourself. We are supposed to show each other love and respect. What has this person done to you personally....? Hmm? Put your life out here on KZbin...and lets see what you got tucked away and hidden... without ANY courage to face it yourself...much less post it for all the world to see.... it may not be a gender struggle, but mark my word....each and ALL of us struggle with something....whether it be addiction...infidelity...living a lie in some form or another..... so unless you are perfect...give this person a break...allow some common decency that you yourself, without question, would so need if you put your sorry ass life on a rope and ran it up a flag pole !! I know who I am and I know why I am here. Tell everybody why are you here? Reformation? Outreach? Care? Curiosity? Hate? Think upon these things!

How do you get prominent change in 1 year? Im post 1 year in Hrt and im still very male like. There is so very little breast growth and thats about it. Nothing else changed.

Everyone is different. This timeline was wrong, I started HRT on July 14th 2014, so this was actually 9 months of HRT. I would recommend talking to your doctor and have a blood test to make sure your hormone levels are where they should be. Mine is the same as a Normal, Healthy mid 20s woman.

jakthebomb he gave me a blood test request form but i never could afford the price of it. so all that has happened meanwhile is simply doubling of estradiol but he says i dont need any tblockers.
@jakthebomb8 жыл бұрын
Alvvin Toh I am certain you need T-Blockers. Find another doctor, he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Alvvin Toh and don't depend on HRT only, u need to know which kind of food you need to eat with HRT and which kind of food you mustn't to eat with HRT...because there are more food anty estrogen

What a wonderful journey. You look amazing and Erika seems to really adore you. I've read that other girls transitioning have had good experience shedding all of their old man weight before trying to build natural curves through female fat redistribution. Otherwise one is topped on top of the other. Good luck!

Congrats you look really happy. I wish you were in Nashville so I could help you take your look to the next level. I see a lot of potential and I have certainly seen less handsome guys transition to beautiful women.! Don't listen to the haters they have never taken one step in your shoes doll.
