Taking more chances and not being afraid to fail. That's my biggest fear is failure. I hear it over and over all the time. In books, podcasts, leadership videos, shorts and in my head.

Exactly. I was just reading about startups recently and noticed that Pastor Craig talked about the exact same thing - limitation drives innovation. A position with no resources is an opportunity to bring out what large organisations are blind to. It’s an opportunity to see God do something great. It’s an opportunity for us to grow in ways we can’t even imagine. But God can. And indeed He already has. Take what belongs to you today!

Thought I'd share- this is a true situation. I worked for a government agency full of narcissistic women, mostly and mostly passive men. Not a great combination. I wanted to serve God and abused children and their families. The leadership, if you call it that diminished me to nothing. They did this with the families too. I went to an agency wide meeting that was mandatory and I listened to a narcissist leader say that she needed coaching to be empathetic, compassionate, a good role model as her managerial staff would too. My heart hurt and I rolled my eyes. These, think they are the golden people of social services. It's scary what I learned as an observer. I was only seen when they found fault. I got COVID from this crew, as well. I was never good enough for this crew of people. There were other improprieties I cannot share here. The competitive spirit, arrogance, maybe even Jezebel was profoundly evident . And yes, I did pray. When I was told I did not fit, I took it hard because I am in a new town, new environment, new church, no friends just acquaintances but God showed me I had to see what really goes on in that realm. It sickens me. But God, He redeemed my view. I am so much closer to Him but I do not want to work for this type of "leadership" again. Unwelcoming, pious, unkind, non people PEOPLE. I pray those people I encountered hear this.

The other thing that is a necessity is TRUTH!!! It's bigger than any of us. GOD is supposed to exemplify truth, therefore we should at least try to be honest with others including ourselves. When we are honest then we're a little more reasonable. Unreasonable and difficult people are demons in disguise! Beware to Not deal with those types!
