you gotta start hitting the combo button and then up heavy attack to send them flying up. then press a on xbox to dash at them and then just do the basic combo after that and it knocks them down if they dont recover from it. this isnt the only way to do it but thats how i started

It’s why people nowadays aren’t taking ranked as seriously and picking characters with insta-sparking to counter those fusions. I can win without using insta-spark but again there’s LEVELS to this , if I get my ass beat by the same Gogeta SSJ4 or UI Goku back to back then I am playing Rosé as my crutch counter because I refuse to play fair and get cheesed on. we shouldn’t have to play by anyone’s rulebook , you cheese fusions then we’ll cheese right back. “It takes no skill to spam-insta spark” just like it takes no skill to run those same meta-characters and play cheap 😂 I been playing this game for a good amount of time , so at the end of the day I too don’t like playing cheap but idgaf anymore for ranked.
