Last Raven was the first game in the franchise that I played, and I played the portable version emulated on my cell phone, I suffered a lot with the Ac Bosses because I had no idea how to make a decent build, And I didn't even know how to move properly, especially with emulator controls ON THE CELL PHONE, So I got absolutely demolished on all the Boss Ac's, but now I have some knowledge of how statuses work, so I'm going to reset the missions and try to do it right this time.

Totally agree with WHY are there maps 2 square inches wide…..in the middle of the desert xD It made sense for the ‘protect cargo’ mission, and literally every other desert mission used the same 2 square inch map…..lmao. Also, fun fact, the pulverizers get harder depending on what order you kill them (that bs quad fight in the desert is normally an easy fight, unless you kill any pulverizers before it, then it actually does upgrade when reproduced

@@spiidey1 Def not hardware limit, every single other map is bigger and has many more objects in them to render. If anything, it was either laziness or to make it hard. (Legit, during this time there was a new AC game every year and Fromsoft themselves said as long as it’s playable and sells, then ship it, even with bugs) Agetech is who did the localization and non JP text and voice lines, and many of their employees have stories from Fromsofts lack of care during this era.

A tip for the drone tunnel, a multi-lock missile helps IMMENSELY at keeping track of all the drones and avoiding them. Just knowing if you should go up or down is enough. Of course, now you have a missile launcher against Ultimate Zinaida, but that's for you to figure out.

1 large rocket, linear cannon arms, and the fastest legs you can put that on with the most refresh you can swing. Rolls Zinaida up like a rug with ease. The rockets get you through the lasers/power room, the arms turn Zinaida into a stain all over the wall.

Never thought I'd see the day someone using a light AC unit in Last Raven. Considering you can bring stuff over from Nexus to Nine Breaker to Last Raven you'd want to bring your A-game. Personally, I just found it easier to rock a tank with high-damage yield cannons on the back, a machine gun on the right, and a sword on the left. Just run stuff over lol. The AI was actually awful in Last Raven compared to earlier games so it was easy to cheese some of the levels. Still, a fun game that wrapped up the Nexus/Nine/Last Raven trio of games. Good to see the return of Armored Core videos with 6 on the horizon.

The second pulverizer you face, the one in the open desert, is in my opinion the WORST. The final pulverizer at least made me feel confident to beat him, just barely, but the second pulverizer I just… cannot dodge it. I just hope I get lucky each attempt. But still not as bad as super zinaida on the PSP version… that was hell.

I think the quad (the one I think you're talking about) is the worst due to the size of the map. The other versions let you maneuver about, keep distance for evasion, and not worry about leaving the area as much. Also, the quad just seems more spam happy with its lasers, I think.

I don't think it really affects you after a while. Especially since you have so much money thrown at you throughout the game. Maybe on your first playthrough it can work as intended, but after that it doesn't matter. In-mission, I don't think it affects you much either since only ever the legs or core are damaged that much to be close to be destroyed, or are destroyed (I assume core destruction is just you dying).
