*ABOUT 7 DAYS TO DIE*
7 Days to Die is a "Zombie Horde Survival Crafting Game". Yep, that's a lot of words. That's because 7 days to die is a lot of things. It is a zombie horror game. You are being pursued by zombies with the constant threat of a horde in 7 days, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. They come for you on day 7, and you have that much time to prepare. If you survive that horde, another one is coming on day 14, stronger than before. You must improve your base, become more skilled, or you will lose everything. It is also a crafting game, where you can build your base, weapons, tools, even electrical traps, and turrets to keep you alive through the night. It is also a survival game, where you must scavenge food, mine resources, and manage your general health through diseases and dysentery. What makes 7 Days to Die special isn't just that unique mix of gameplay features I describe above, it is also a "fully destructible world" based on voxel technology. You can dig anywhere, destroy anything, in a true sandbox environment. The replay-ability is near infinite, limited only to your imagination and gluttony for punishment. There are multitudes of settings for you to customize your experience to make it as tough, or as creative as you wish. 7 Days to Die is also created with multiplayer in mind. You can collaborate in teams, or strike out on your own as a lone wolf. you can form alliances, group up for the shared experience, or attack other players on PVP servers for the ultimate survival challenge. Will you be the member or a community, or a threat from afar? The many, many choices are yours.

I'm using nerd hat for 8% XP gain, scavenger outfit for the +4 inventory slots, ranger boots for +40 stamina and Preacher gloves for +40% damage to the undead. That's all green armors. I find the 40% damage boost and the 40 stamina boost very good buffs for green armors.

40% to zombies is pretty nuts, sounds like a must-have.

You can get the legendary parts from anything that used to contain clothing. Like those piles of clothes or shoes on the floors, garment bags and drawers. Plus in the end loot stash container. I found two of those in the same room in a tier two infested clear.

And garbage. I got all the wasteland wanderer books which add to the chance to find legendary parts, now I'm swimming in them. Savage country stores are awesome to find them.

I checked the XML, anywhere you can find armor, you can find parts. Quite a few containers, just gotta loot everything. Footlockers, mortician drawers, backpacks, etc

For taking over a POI, I passed a Red Ruby the other day, in my own playthrough. Concrete building about the same size as the Red Rooster. If either are in Navezgane, They might be of use

​@Genosis i always do something similar, take a POI that's decently tall, and build a fighting position on it with a stair system for pathing, and the mine in the garage.

My home base in my game is the top of that bridge at 10:44. Added supports, upgraded the existing base and removed access paths on three of the ramps. Very spacious.

Bridge base is pretty nifty, I recall wanting to do that before though physics made it unwise in previous alphas lol

@@Genosis I always go under the bridge and add extra support pillars and iron spikes in the water. I did all the way up to lvl 70 horde night on one once. Plus, if you need to deal with thirst, a vitamin allows you to drink your fill from the river below.

Indeed, i also noticed that not everything counts for harvesting missions. To see what does count if you pin the mission you get the yellow markers that tell you what you actually need.

I might just limit the nomad armor just for the challenge of it and get a set bonus, as non optimal as that would be lol. On a side game I have several random pieces of armor for certain moments. The min/maxer in me is screaming

I used to make a base on top of the working stiff tools you cleared, when I started playing it was on the other side of the road and it always had a working vending machine.

I remember that! A17-A18 maybe? Those were way too full of working stiff crates, and usually made it anyway into Darkness falls and other mods for some OP loot

I figured out that you can't count some things for challenge completion while doing trader quests. If you take a trader quest while showing where things are for a challenge it won't work. But some things will get counted - such as the 'collect honey from stumps' challenge. I had already found three honeys in stumps using a stone ax and that counted but if you collected scrap plastic that didn't count unless you selected the challenge to show where they're at.

Scrap the armor it will give you a armor parts and you can craft your own when it comes to it

I recently discovered the nerd chest on a side game, I carry that with me everywhere I go when I read books in the field. 5-30% chance to get two points instead of 1 is awesome, really increases the progress

Lots of good things in 1.0. But I am still a bit disappointed that they could not address the cars sinking into the tarmac or the traders not moving their lips or blinking.

Character animations would be a big step forward, but probably very low priority for them. Now that the game is 1.0, I think more "serious" mods might come out to change core designs of the game

Ha yeah, I like the system and the variety of clothing, the I don't like that some effect are much more "must have" than others, and some of the set bonuses do not outweigh the benefits of some other perks by mixing and matching.

Can you add some glass windows to your base please! It just look so much prettier than regular wall! It has the same hot points and you can see all the lovely zombies and their beautiful rotting faces from inside your house. Just because you are a nomad doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have nice things

Here's an interesting idea for your nomad run: No horde base so rooftops and running only. After every horde night you are to leave with whatever you can bring along and go for the next town

I think we did something similar a while ago, and that's more or less what I doing minus the base thing. Though, I would not be adverse from using a POI instead of building every time. That would save me a lot of precious time between biomes, so I have been considering that.

Hmm I don't recall the coordinates, but I started at A15 Console/A16 PC so maybe that predates that. I used to watch the Game Society Pimps starting in Alpha 7.11 which is CRAZY different now lol so maybe that's when that city you are referring to was around.

I am not a KZbinr but I'd imagine it's very dependent on a lot of factors. Such as views, subscriber count, etc.

It’s a huge topic, but I will try and simplify the answer. If you’re passionate about the content, and are willing to learn and put a lot of up front work without pay, then sure. The frustrating thing is success feels random sometimes. One video I could put in 8 hours of work with brainstorming, scripting, recording, re-recording, editing, etc. I could get half the views I normally do. But I do a quick video that was 2 hours to record and edit and got 1.7 million views on NAGG. So, at the end of the day I was able to get a channel from 0 to 8000 subs in a year and make enough to cover my mortgage payment. Our first channel was different, we were clueless and we weren’t even monetized for the first YEAR. That’s where research and experience came in. Also the biggest factor is time. If you have 10-20 hours to spare a week without sacrificing other important aspects of your life, then you can make a solid attempt at it.

I've never played previous alpha, I noticed I can level 6 my club but what's the legendary item I need to upgrade, like where do I get it?

The legendary item can be found in anywhere you'd find armor such as foot lockers, mortician drawers, backpacks, savage country crates, zombie loot, laundry, desks,. etc. You can also get them as quest rewards

Hmm haven't noticed any issues; I'm still using the same settings right from KZbin's recommended settings page when encoding videos. From what I've heard sometimes the video gets a lower priority codec until the video gets more traffic. I don't know if this is confirmed, but that's the word anyhow.
