I have a trans and non-binary daughter who just came out a little over a year ago. She kept her first name, but changed the spelling to make it girly and has a girl's middle name. She has a few pieces of women's clothing. A lot of non-binary people identify as trans. I have a friend on Messenger in Australia who is like this.

"Trans" is transgender as in Transitioning from one gender to the other. Therefore someone who claims they are non binary cannot be transgender. Most of the so called "non binary" folk are following a media and online trend and will regret their decisions down the track.

Those two things are mutually exclusive. Trans deals with the binary in gender. Non-binary is a fad that thinks being a male or female just isn't cool anymore. Also, saying "she" shows even you don't buy into it.
