I attended the free workshop and have watched many podcast episodes and have experienced a shift that brought me to tears. I painted an abstract horse that truly painted itself. I can't explain it any other way. The feeling I have when I look at it has altered me. Like I'm looking at my soul ❤

I had absolutely no idea that there was an artist hiding inside me, until 2019, when I started to draw a little, and then began some watercolor painting. My home is now filled, and I mean filled, with lots of my art. I have painted everything from horses, dogs, cats, elephants, orang utan, zebra, lion, tiger, chimpanzee, giraffe, donkeys, abstract art, and even some portraits. I found my passion. What a joy it is to make art. I love it. Anyone who reads this, never be shy to pick up a pencil or a paintbrush. You won't believe what joy it will bring you. Nicholas, thank you for your videos. I love to watch them.

The hard part.....oh man, it is all hard for me . I cannot seem to open the damn door....to anything....especially not to me. I will keep watching and listening, and learning....and begin slapping some paint on paper...with reckless abandon...because, I don't know how else to begin. Thanks coach:)

Thank You Nicholas. What a gift! This was honestly the most profound explanation of the purpose and process of true art that I have ever encountered. If practiced with this kind of consciousness and intention art will change the world and you are making a major contribution with your teaching.

I did go to the free workshop and I do miss everyone and the community. I am at a cross road in myself and my art journey life and career. I have always given myself to others and now at 58 trying to find me in my heart mind and soul as well as my art. You are an inspiration and soo positive and so happy to have met you ❤❤❤

'When you are ready, the teacher appears...' and here you are Nicholas Wilton. It's uncanny to me how your words in this 128 video are words that have been in my head for years. I have had a yearning to be able to express myself through color, paint and texture. I could tell when I first heard one of your videos that you were the first person with whom I might one day achieve that. Now, hearing you talk about the fear and the work that one goes through to be able to listen to my inner knowing and translate that into paint and collage brings a thrill of excitement that I know you and your students have experienced. I am looking forward to next year and your next workshop...HOORAY!

I’m now starting my second round of CVP, and I feel like I’m starting to get it. As I paint, I’m noticing what it is that lights me up. i’m having a silent conversation with myself and it’s very exciting! I can feel a shift in my art and how i respond to what i’m doing - more discernment and less judgment. The critic has the day off! Thank you, Nick!

I love, love, loved this episode and it really hit home. I recently noticed that all the pieces of art that sell fast or that gets the most compliments are the pieces I made when I was full of emotion. Sometimes I was sad, sometimes over-the-top happy- no matter- viewers can tell and it just blows my mind. I wrote down your three principles and look forward to learning more from you. Thank you, sir!

I would like my art to draw awareness to people like myself who suffer from narcolepsy ( let everyone who doesn't step into our world through my art) and your words today about your art becoming you and you your art is spot on. I really needed to hear this. It was like hearing a piece of something I knew deep down but hadn't realized. Wishing I lived closer so I could take advantage of any live workshops, but I"ll try to do better about listening to podcasts and the free workshop. I appreciate your desire to spread the message of authenticity and how to find that...that's exactly what I'm searching for but don't know quite how to find it. My art was put on hold for 45 years but I just retired and now I"m trying (with difficulty) to find my voice again. If I'm being honest, the thing that is my spark is having a message to my work, not just creating an aesthetic, but creating something that has a perceivable point of view or statement. Look forward to learning more from you.

I do understand and get what you are talking about in this podcast and now really want to see it happening in my art. I had never thought clearly about the obvious connections before but it absolutely makes sense and I love the idea of the feedback loop. I know what I love, and that's what I try to do. I can see it is very difficult. I have a new respect for this kind of art. I was involved i n music and writing, but never painting. Really hard to master. I don't feel in control of my life at all, and I like learning the style of art I love because I CAN control THAT. The rest of my life, not so much. So I want to be in control of something, obsessed with something, and painting is it. no one can stop me from doing it. No one can destroy or control it as long as it is with me. it is mine, mine to master, mine to mess up, mine to do whatever I want with it while it is in my control, i may be stopped from selling the paintings, posting the paintings online or whatever, but only i decide whether I create it or not.

my father told me when I was at high school that I had no colour sense whether it be clothing or doing art in general so hew stopped my hopes in it's tracks and now he's dead my adventure started sort of 10yrs after that insult I started dabbling in drawing even though I wasn't very good then I found water colour pencils that I still have today and tried them not sure on how they worked that was when my son was a toddler fun times and I also taught him how to make shapes with play dough so after that when he turned 22yrs I picked up a paint brush that was my true passion like doing landscapes, seascapes and having a go at city scapes and using gouache, acrylic, and watercolour paints, crayon ,sharpies stencils is where I am today.
