those limestone cliffs and mountains are so common in the philippines, we also have those here in rizal if you would go to mt. hapunang banoi and mt. sipit ulang, that is because millions of years ago philippines was underwater and those limestone formation were pushed up by tectonic plates, eruptions and changing sea levels hencewhy we have no dinosaur fossils found because by the time the philippine islands were formed the dinosaurs are already extinct

Love Pako (fiddleferns)! Memories of an amazing meal in Sagada where my son wild harvested Pako in the crevasse below the home we were staying in. I picked up some smoked wild boars meat, freshly baked bread, and red rice grown locally. Nothing like getting everything locally and organically! Lucky you!
