BAMBOO MOUNTAIN CAMP In The PHILIPPINES with a BEAUTIFUL CAFE! (Becoming Filipino)

A BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN CAMP AND CAFE WAS BUILT IN AKLAN...
This video starts off in Kalibo, where myself and Kumander Daot visit the mangrove ecopark and have some tamilok. From there, we head to Makato and stumble upon a unique mountain camp! First thing I appreciated about this place? The view! You can see all the way to Kalibo city, and all the way up towards the mountains. They have a great spot, and it makes for a wonderful place to tambay and have a fruit shake or coffee. The name of the place is Chole Camp and Cafe... I love how they put together the various huts with natural materials. The inside of the main cafe area was beautiful... lots of bamboo and nipa.
During our stop over, we also got into wonderful conversation with a group called Aklan Trekkers Inc. They were busy planting local fruit trees nearby as part of a environmental project. I even learned about the "Big Five" of Aklan!
After saying goodbye to my British friend... I head off to the fast cat in Caticlan, and make my way to Mindoro.

You and Kumander Daot went to the same places but how you narrated your individual views of these places were different and interesting. I watch both your channels. I appreciate how both of you engage with the locals, even trying to learn phrases of the dialects. And there’s something to be proud of as a Filipino - everywhere the locals are warm and welcoming, and they can speak in English. Thank you for taking me along with you on this trip to places I know I’ll never be able to go to.

I was just wondering because you could have taken the roro direct to Batangas from Caticlan, and no need to go to Mindoro. I guess you wanted to go through Mindoro.
