DRIVING TO MANILA to get MARRIED - Leaving Mindanao By Boat (Becoming Filipino)

THE TIME HAS COME TO DRIVE TO MANILA AND GET MARRIED...
The wedding will be in the near future, but first, myself and Kumar start the journey north. We leave Cateel and head for the boat in Surigao. Along the way, we experience and incredible sunrise, find a really cool ukay ukay, and just enjoy the road trip! You don't have to advance book any of the boats when taking this route... we took the Fast Cat to Liloan from Surigao City.
Arriving in Tacloban at night, we stop by one of our favorite places to eat (La Maison Punjab), and they surprise me with some well wishes for my future wedding.
The journey to Manila and my future marriage has begun...

my wife woke me up at 2am the day of our wedding because the make up artist was due for 230am .. i had just enough energy to shave and get my barong tagalog out of the dry cleaning bag. then it was all systems down and i was out like a light until the photographer came into the room and woke me up "sir sir! we need the photos of you and the groomsmen now! it is late!" so i dragged myself out of bed and got thrown into a pool by a crew of filipinos! haha! we had a traditional church wedding in Mindanao , Zamboanga Del Norte and despite my exhaustion, it was the most incredible magical experience of my life! enjoy Kuya! married life to a filipina is incredible! if you are serving lechon at your wedding you better be fast because as soon as we all started eating that pig disappeared like a scene from the walking dead hahah!!! within 20 minutes it was a pig skeleton haha! you are in for the best days of your life my guy! congratz to you both! sending positive vibes from Nova Scotia!
