GIANT OCTOPUS ADOBO SURPRISE - Filipino Fisherman In Bicol (We Bought Them Boats)

AFTER A WONDERFUL CONVERSATION WITH MANONG BERTO, A LOCAL FILIPINO FISHERMAN IN CATANDUANES... I HAD A GIANT OCTOPUS SURPRISE!
It is a great feeling to be back with the locals in Puraran. The place that inspired us with Bayanihan after being hit with three typhoons. This video is just a little look at some of the boats we donated, and the life of some locals here in the community. The wisdom of Manong Berto, and the attitude he has... AMAZING. I also did not expect to be surprised with a giant octopus adobo!
Bicol is home to many Provinces. This one is Catanduanes, the HAPPY ISLAND.

What I really admire of Filipinos are their ability to adapt on this ever changing world, anywhere or any place. Used to see them in the Iraq driving trucks for contractors. They are always sporting smiles, waving at a complete stranger. Doing that gesture of eating something with their hands as an invitation for to join them. Their ability to make new friends world wide is astounding. Natural disaster, war, famine, regardless that it seems that their heart are always evergreen in despite of it all.

I’m with you Kyle. For whatever you do for this people is self gratification and no one can take it away from you. Last year, when the pandemic began the lockdowns I started to ask people in my group I was in. To raised money and no one contributed I until I watched infomercial and how to flipping stocks. Like flipping houses it take time but flipping stocks is in minutes. I bought 600 shares of CNS and it accelerated and tripled the prices and sold it. I was able to donate 22 sacks of rice and supported 35 families last years with that one bold move. I gained experience and helped the community and my relatives at the same time. No one can take away that happiness I felt then that I was able to help. I know how you felt. I thank you for being there and helping my people openly. You and Finn Snow are in the same. Mold

The story in all of this seems to be that after the Puraran bayanihan received help to recover from the typhoon damage they are reaching out to the other communities of Catanduanes to pay it forward. The bayanihan will not only be in their community, or barangay, but throughout the island. What a tremendous legacy to be a part of. Green papaya has enzymes that act as a natural tenderizer for all meats. We used it cooking conch for fritters I also use it in my homemade pepper sauce to break down the sauce into a nice smooth liquid. Papaya is an all-round great fruit to have around,
