Nevertheless , I went back and undo the project and tried it again with 15 stitches instead of 10 and 9 rows instead on 6. It came out really beautiful ! Also, thanks for sharing the pillow filling . Thank you for your video. I've never knitted or crochet before. I really wanted to make one of these... but I tend to take on new craft hobbies too often so before I invested in a bunch of reams I thought I would try making a little one first and see if it's something I take to. I had an old ream of yarn from some forgotten project. And I had some chopsticks.. so I used chopsticks to make a tiny one with the thin yarn. Instead of stuffing it I put a plastic Christmas ball inside without the hanger. I filled the ball with catnip. My daughters kitties love it. Now I'm going to try making a big one!🐈🧶

You can buy a very cheap, therefore very stretchy pair of panty hose from the dollar store to stuff the fiberfill in. That way no stuffing will work it's way out from in-between the stitches. Will also prevent children from pulling stuffing out. I learned this from Old Soul Crochet.

I love the aesthetics of your design -- it looks like a chrysanthemum. As someone who spent half my childhood raising sheep I'd like to know how you keep this from falling apart over time with such a loose weave for short fibers. On the farm we would have boiled the wool after hand knitting to lock in the stitches, which would have to required making the pillow at least twice as big to compensate for the shrinking.
