if you add an extra stitch when you start and when you finish that first stitch do a double stitch you have a connection that looks seamless with no knots.. I use this method whenever I'm knitting hats, scarves, sock, basically anything on the round...

How many stitches should I start with if my wool is a little thinner. It says 87 yards/35oz, 80m, 1000g. And it says on the needle size 11.5 mm/ US P-16. Super Bulky 6 is also on the package.
