I installed the 1000CL on my 5.6" Tundra bed yesterday. Had the full sized on my old Escalade EXT for 9 years so I am familiar with BEDSLIDE. This new one when fully extended can be slid left about 6" and they say that's normal on the newer model due to the opening mechanisms. My OCD doesn't like that at all. Took it over to my local 4x4 store and they even called it in for me and they got the same BS. Just doesn't sit well with me at all. Glad yours worked out!

We love having the the bedslide, my only complaint is I wish the side rails were a little beefier and a couple inches taller. Thanks for watching

I assumed that this would install using the bed mounting bolts. Got a question was the hardware aluminum including the mounting brackets on the bottom? I’m concerned about dissimilar metals (galvanic corrosion)

I was thinking the same thing and got a quote from the dealer, but the dealer was getting a markup from the purchase and plus $500 from the install made me want to do it myself

I’m guessing the “No Drill Kit” isn’t an option on your Bedslide model.

@@gapo62angler93 it was not an option when I installed it. You may want to confirm it with someone at etrailer.com , they are pretty good at answering those types of questions and on top of new products available.

Good bc they are trash! I just came inside from installing the exact same kit on the exact same truck, and the exact same issue… That was $70 I could’ve just set on fire…
