I grew up in Turvey in the 70s. This brought back some lovely memories and a few tears. Thank you.

Turvey is a lovely village. My brother is a Morris Dancer and his group performed at the Three Cranes a year or so back.

It must be so nice to live there, the houses are so lovely. It's hard to believe there are such adorable little villages like this.

We had plans to walk to many more this year but the COVID crisis really screwed things up.

Sir the music and editing is superb! Loved it. I wish to leave London for good and am considering a Bedfordshire village myself.

I do a lot of walking in Bedfordshire. In fact I'm currently editing a Bedfordshire walk video right now. Lovely county.

Hi David, I am truly enjoying you and your wife's walks thru such beautiful historic areas of GB. If you ever get a chance, I would love to see you do a walk around cruwys morchard devon england as my ancestors (William Thorne and Sara Way) came from that area. Some of the Thorne's came to America and others migrated to Australia/Tasmania. Your walks help to give we modern day Americans deeper roots and help us to see where our great, great, great moms and dads came from and the churches they worshiped in and the pubs they may have lifted a pint.. Thank you and your sweetie.

Sylvie and I are going to Devon in September. I'll make a note and see what we can do.

@@arcadia449 That would be great. From looking at Google Earth, there isn't much there. However, William's father (John Thorne) came from Bishops Hatfield, Herts, England which looks to have foot paths. Thanks again..

@@SaltyKayak I know Bishop's Hatfield very well. I lived in Hatfield many years ago and it's only a few minutes from where I live now. I was planning a video there, as there are some interesting things to see there. I'm hoping the COVID crisis passes soon to make access to various sites easier.

@@arcadia449 I need to see if I have any Stuckey's in my ancestry tree. We could have some common ancestors. Have you done a DNA test? I have done 3 and one was an English company. Supposedly, my grandma was 50% Native American which means my mom was about 35% and I would be 12.5%. Well, DNA doesn't lie.. I have maybe 2% Native American and by far.. most of my ancestors on both my mom's side (Thorne's) and dad's side (Adams) came from England.

@@SaltyKayak I have a DNA test kit from Ancestry. I must use it soon. My Stuckey ancestors came from Somerset, near Devon.
