BEDROCK GOLD FROM THE ROGUE RIVER OF SOUTHERN OREGON

Today we explore a new section of the rogue river in Southern Oregon and we found some really nice bedrock to work. This is an area of the rogue river called rainy falls and it is absolutely beautiful out here. So join me in today’s adventure as we search for Mother Nature’s yellow candy. @@WestCoastGoldProspecting Thanks for asking.... I was into gold metal detecting in the mid 90's with my Whites V-SAT living down in San Diego & driving to Yuma AZ area to prospect... I now work for a large sporting goods store chain and can buy a Minelab Gold Monster detector and a pin pointer, pan kit and such for a LOT less than retail as an employee.... I also know all the small creeks and remote gold claims from remote hunting ,fishing and mountain biking and so its a " No Brain'er " ....cheers :)

I've found 2 bottles before...crazy how someone could do so much work and just leave their bottle. And like I said in my one video, some days you make $50 and some days you make 50 cents...but it's still fun getting it!

😂🤙, I have only ever liked the Seahawks because of my dad and growing up with watching them with popps. I don’t know that I have ever watched a beaver or ducks game to be honest. 😬 Sorry I just grew up a little different I guess. Haven’t watched two minutes of any NFL games this year 🤣. I gave up when they took a knee and gave the finger to the USA.

I was watching channel Bearkat4160 a few months ago and he was finding a lot of gold while dredging in the Rogue River. Might be the best spot in Oregon...would love to live there and make use of my huge pry bars...get some of those stuck rocks loose !!

I've lived in Indiana most of my life...have never made it out to Oregon. Note that the area you are working is limited to "Hands and Pans Only." No tools such as pick, crow-bar, or large screwdriver are allowed. Also, when the Grave Creek Bridge is within sight, you are not at Rainy Falls. And yes, BLM can use your video as evidence to cite you.

Well that’s news to me. I am still new to southern Oregon and this spot in particular. 😬 Now I know. Not that I really care about the silly laws they have placed on us. It kinda pisses me off that they think they can control us like they are attempting to do. No dredging- no suction tools- no pry bars or picks. RIDICULOUS. But thanks for the update anyhow. @@WestCoastGoldProspecting I remember when the west coast was built by miners for miners now that the shiny is out of the ground and government has cash flowing they limit the present day prospectors and miners with BS laws. Anyways heavy pans from Medford

@@WestCoastGoldProspecting When all the new laws came into effect, I accepted a position working for Josephine County as a Mining Advisor (I learned to pan gold from the Illinois River in 1976). I thought the best way to fight was from the inside. Such was not the case. The politicians passed their laws prohibiting motorized mining anyway.

Ordinance number please?...to back up your claim that "hands and pans only" limits the use of shovels and other small hand tools. I'm just not a big fan of taking somebody else's word for it, as MOST people vomit their opinion to others, rather than fact.
