Dude, that's awesome you hit 1k! Here in CALIFORNIA, where I prospect, I ALWAYS bring some form of a life straw. I'm always near a river, so no need to pack in water, plus, you never run out. I use Sawyer to be exact. Screw it on a collapsible bottle, and bam, cold, clean water. Nice gold. Heavy pans. And I see you kinda cut the music back!!! 😂😂😂 Love your videos. Thanks.

@@SkovianGoesOutdoors yeah, I try to pack in as light as possible. Fill the bottle with house water, drink it on the hike. Fill up at the river a few times, and bingo. One for the road too. It's sketchy at first, and clean them instantly as per instructions once home, and your golden see what I did there! Heavy pans.

@@SkovianGoesOutdoors slight amounts of gold from diabase rock as it erodes over eons. Just enough to prove the geology. Hence Virginia. Placer and some lode gold still exist and is obtainable. Heavy pans brother!

I use the Milwaukee M18 Wet/Dry Cordless Shop Vac. It's a really great tool :) There are quite a few options from different brands that work really well too
