bedrock did get a 1.1 update... back when it was pocket edition/windows 10 edition, it added concrete/powder, totems of undying, woodland mansions, illagers, shulker boxs/shells Edit: you covered it in your video "Minecraft PE 1.1 Update OUT NOW - All Features"

The amethyst geode is gorgeous. And it sounds nice when your walk around. But it's also incredibly useful, because amethyst shards make tinted glass. And tinted glass makes mob farms so much better. First, it's just more fun if you can see inside. But second, it's SO much easier to debug mob farms if you can watch what's happening.

You know that weird room in every stronghold? The one called the storeroom-with the cobblestone pillar, floating torches, and a random chest up top? It’s supposed to be some kind of storage area, I guess, but it looks so unfinished. The whole stronghold is a little rough and abandoned, but this room stands out even more. I feel like everyone’s run into it at least once, but no one really talks about it. Minecraft players analyze everything, from tiny texture changes to random terrain generation quirks. But this? There’s barely any discussion, no real explanation from Mojang, and no deep-dive videos. It’s just there, and everyone moves past it without thinking. I’m not saying it’s some lost secret or anything, but I do think it’s interesting. Why does it look like this? Was it supposed to have a purpose? Was something scrapped? It really feels like an unfinished feature, like it was meant to be more but got left in as-is. I just think it’s worth talking about a little more. Minecraft is one of the most analyzed games ever, and yet this room-something that appears in every stronghold-gets almost no attention. Maybe it’s nothing, but it’s weird how little anyone mentions it

19:05 i find it so odd that the other dimensions never seem to get minor updates the way the overworld consistently does (ie buzzy bees, the garden awakens, etc). I imagine its cause theyre scared of upsetting progression (for the nether) or because they have bigger things planned (the end,) but in my opinion it mostly just leads to stagnation until the next complete overhaul is required. I really hope they do try to update them further through drops though (also great video!)

Maybe I missed it, but I feel there was a lack of outrage about the minecraft marketplace. Things that are perfectly free and made by individual creators on Java are suddenly behind a paywall on bedrock? It has microsoft's dirty fingerprints all over it.

The best exclusive i loved was being able to craft a barrel with six sticks and two slabs. BUT THEN THEY REMOVED IT AND USED THE JAVA RECIPE- like i understand it’s for parity, but why not keep the cheeper recipe for both versions!

They also removed the cobweb to 9 string crafting recipe. Both were used in PS4 edition yet were removed for parity reasons that doesn't even matter at best

We danced together in Minecraft. (And used discord to talk.) Now I'm playing it mostly single player. But it was a place to see my friends when i first started playing.

Me accidentally clicking on one of toy cats videos actually got me playing Minecraft about 9 years ago. It's a great relaxing game especially if you normally play stressful sweaty ass shooters like myself. Minecraft can be totally relaxing and chill or the exact opposite if you want it to be. Highly recommend playing if you never have. Once you start it's kind of hard to stop
