Finally crossing a house project I've been waiting ages to do - Ghibli/forestcore/cottagecore themed bedroom makeover! We went to the Ghibli Museum in Japan and picked up a ton of Studio Ghibli decor to use in this room and it turned out so cute ❤️

If you have any metal grates for a central heating system, I highly recommend making little fabric soot sprites with googly eyes and glueing or sewing a magnet in the back and sticking them to the grates. We have some hanging out around our vents and it’s really cute!

This was SO COSY ! I was impressed with how quickly you added things to the wall & they all looked perfect ! I would of "hemmed" & 'hawed' and been overwhelmed! Have you seen the artist here on KZbin. Think she might be Chinese (forgive me if I am wrong!) Her first name is Xiao, I believe ? She made a huge Ghibli bus !!! It was AMAZING! Ugh, smoking in the house is so gross when it’s not you! I heard that the nasty stuff in the smoke lingers in the drywall and stuff, so you can still experience secondhand smoke effects even if the smokers don’t live there anymore. The room looks great though!
